Pros:

Stayed for 1 night in a triple family room. Very clean and modern decor . Good shower facilities. Lovely bar area with friendly , helpful staff . Overall a good value hotel .

Great spacious Clean Comfortable rooms. BUT...
Pros:

Great room, comfortable, cozy, spacious with nice bathroom. The reception staff are lovely the Hotel is ideally located for Ancoats & Etihad Stadium.

The bar area is nice too.

Cons:

Breakfast tables were filthy. Really disppointing I've never seen so many set tables with everything laid out but not properly clean.

This is our 2nd visit and standards have clearly slipped since then.

I don't actually blame the breakfazt staff for this though they looked rushed off their feet. Management needs to employ more staff so tables are properly clean.

I also think what contributed to this is the breakfast hours. It was a Thursday morning with most of the guests being Tourists who went to the game the night before not Business guests.

Yet the breakfast hours are 6am till 9.30am. Despite check out being 11am. So no surprise that when we headed down for breakfast at 9.05am it was absolutely Mobbed.

Typically at most well run hotels I stay at breakfast is ran till 10am during the week. And if there is a lot of tourists. There is a rush at 9am and 9.30am. However at this hotel the 9.30am crowd was also there at 9am which clearly caused chaos.

I'm not saying every day of the week they should have later breakfast. I'm saying when there is going to be mostly tourists staying in your hotel on a weekday extend the breakfast hours that day.

I also reckon another easy fix to this issue would actually be to have check out by 10am during the week. Cause then people will naturally choose to wake up earlier and head to breakfast earlier.

If management addesses these issues I will happily return.
