Pros:

The hotel is very nice and the dunes are beautiful. However, you either need to have a full size 4 wheel drive car, or get the guide to take you in and out.

Amazing camp in the desert with the best staff
Pros:

Dear Arabian Nights Resort, and all your wonderful staff, I dont have the names to say a personal thank you to everyone, but basically all of you made our stay so spectacular. It was great room in the middle of the desert, a lovely pool oasis to dip into and have a drink, and lovely landscapes all around. A special thanks to Gary for going above and beyond and rescuing us from the dune, Chef Manoj who made magic, Shankar for all his help! You are a very very special resort and we wish you all the best! hopefully we will return some day!

“A Luxurious and Scenic Retreat in Bediya”
Pros:

“A truly luxurious resort in the heart of Bedya’s sand dunes. Its location is fantastic, with a stunning view and traditional design that perfectly blends with the surroundings. The breakfast and dinner buffet are excellent, offering a great variety of tasty dishes. The rooms are clean, beautifully designed, and comfortable. The reception staff and room service are top-notch. It’s one of the best resorts in Bedya, with easy access via a smooth, straightforward road. Highly recommend visiting for a peaceful and memorable stay!”

Wonderful Staycation with Friends and Family
Pros:

We recently enjoyed a fantastic staycation at Arabian Nights Resort & Spa with friends and family. The resort is clean and well-maintained, offering a beautiful pool and stunning views that really set the scene for a relaxing getaway.

A special mention to Suraj and Bibin, who provided outstanding service throughout our stay. Their attentiveness and hospitality truly made a difference.

While the resort was great, there are a couple of areas for improvement. The variety of food options could be expanded, and the Wi-Fi connectivity was inconsistent. Despite these minor setbacks, we had a lovely time and would recommend the resort for a peaceful escape.

Very clean and exceptionally kind staff
Pros:

It's incredible that there are accommodations that are as clean and comfortable out in the middle of the desert. The ride getting their is fun in itself. The staff were exceptionally kind. They should invest in a good telescope. There isn't much to do at night, but training a telescope on a few planets would be fun for both kids and adults.

A true Oasis in the middle of nowhere!
Pros:

One of the best stays we ever had. Very friendly and flexible staff who really make you feel at home. Food surprised us. It was better than some of the best city hotels. The chef team would even taller make the menu as per your choices and dietary requirements. Their new spa was simply the best. Very welcoming and relaxing. I would highly recommend it to everyone staying there. But you should book it the moment you check in.
There are loads of activities from sundowner hi-tea to sandboarding. The heated pool is a blessing.
The drive from Bindhiya to the resort is so much fun. You don't get to do it every day, so enjoy it.
It's my go-to destination for short breaks from Muscat.
Thank you team Arabian Nights for an exceptional stay!

Basic and Overpriced
Pros:

This facility is not real resort, it is very normal camp or accommodation.
The price is not reasonable and doesn’t worth it at all. It is just because of the following reasons
- it has no entertainment activities (no outdoor Cinema, no live band , no area for kids )
- It is far away for the center of the city, you have to drive for 40 minutes approx.
- The rooms are very basic and with no special view or luxury arrangements.
- The landscape is very poor.
- Not really lovely for kids.
Comparing to other resorts, it worth only 50 riyals Only

Peaceful experience to get you of chaos
Pros:

A wonderful overall experience. This was my first experience to stay in the midst of a desert and the experience is unexplainable. The amenities are well maintained. The BBQ was amazing. Food was also very good. Staff were very friendly and polite. Mr. Ganga, the Manager welcomed us very gracefully. Thoroughly enjoyed my peaceful stay. Hoped would have booked a longer stay.

Best Desert stay experience! DONT MISS
Pros:

Great stay at Arabian Nights Resort, truly a well-planned resort and the feel of the desert drive is amazing, clean dunes and camels seen grazing at the horizon enroute. Hotel rooms were spacious and private. Bedouin live music under the moonlight was an experience by itself, Dune drive to the mounds for sunset was thrilling.
We enjoyed the climate and heat regulated swimming pool, that was a surprise, we loved it. Chefs did a great job on serving the best BBQ's, Sumptuous Dinner spread & Breakfast was great. Resort Manager Mr Ganga, Chef Manoj & Arabic Chef showcased the best cuisine and 5* services.
Camel ride was set the following day- beauties they are! Worth the trip.
Thanking AVIS rent-a-car for offering the best Land Cruisers, they have an amazing fleet of NEW vehicles to choose from! 2hrs drive wasn't tiring at all from MCT to Bidiya

My wonderful day in the desert
Pros:

It was my first time in a sand desert and I truly enjoyed my stay. Following the recommendation of a friend, I just booked the resort without much of a research. When I got there I was surprised at all the comforts the resort and my villa offered. To enjoy the sunset from a dune and experience the silence of the desert, I booked a camel tour. This was a very nice and impressive experience. After sunset on the way back, it already became cool. It was all nicer to find out that the swimming pool is heated and there are even cocktails offered at the pool bar. For dinner there was a buffet with a good selection of delicious local and international dishes. The staff, especially in the restaurant, was very attentive and friendly. With all the beautiful impressions I slept very well. My tight schedule required me to leave the very next day, but I think one night is almost too short and at least one more night would have been nice.

Desert paradise
Pros:

We stayed for two nights. The rooms are very comfortable. The setting of the camp is great in the middle of the desert and dunes on both sides.

The sunsets are spectacular! You can enjoy them on camel back or dune buggy or in a jeep

The Omani sands are wonderful and soft.

There is a lot of choice of cuisine
In the evening they organise a lovely barbecue.
The bar has good wine options

The pool is heated and has a great seating area too

A must visit while in Oman

Overpriced, overrated
Pros:

Brand new but needs to get better organized.
Rooms kind of primitiv.
AirCon did not work.
Rooms (2) were not serviced, cleaned etc. during the day.
Friendly personal but inexperienced.
Noisy because of quads being used in the dunes right in front of the hotel from before 7am on.
Noisy because of a generator running all night right in front of the hotel.
Would not stay there again for that money.

Wonderful Desert Retreat
Pros:

The resort is in a perfect location far into the Wahiba Sands, with a fun drive into the desert and spectacular high dunes on both sides of the "Sand Valley". The night sky is unbelievable and the resort arranged dune bashing and a sunset trip into the dunes. They can arrange many other activities like camel rides and Quad Bikes, which we did not try. Pick-up from the edge of the desert can be arranged if you are not game enough to drive yourself or your car is not suitable. My boys however highly enjoyed the drive on the well-marked piste. The rooms are beautifully equipped and each has a private balcony for star gazing. The pool was a welcome cool down. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The chefs treated us to a tasty dinner and overall it was a highly enjoyable stay. We will for sure recommend this resort and go back. The fully licensed bar came as a nice surprise.
