Location is great - excellent beach spot at Holmes beach at walkable distance to cafes and small shopping area
Shower flow is too weak. A stronger flow would make shower experience way better and efficient. The room could also benefit from a humidifier, although this was not a huge issue. Bed mattress very soft. Not uncomfortable, but not my preference

Positives: 1) Location is excellent, on the beach and plenty of places to walk to eat 2) Rooms are very thoughtfully done especially the suites with the extra living space 3) The pool is large and plenty of chairs 4) The beach set up is super close, essentially at the property. You just have to take towels with you and there are no side tables. 4) Kitchen set up in room is more than ample 5) Electric blinds keep the room nice and dark in the AM. 6) They offer bikes 7) Easy parking by your room. 8) Room was very clean upon arrival.
Negatives: 1) I cannot understand that a place that cost this much a night could call itself resort and not have a gym or a small restaurant. I had no idea until after booking room the taxes and fees were so high. They somewhat deceptively advertise versus hotel chains that show a full price. My mistake for not looking at the confirm email sooner 2) No gym. Yes you can leave and go walking or running but no gym equipment for this price is crazy. 3) They probably should sell a little more items at check-in area. 4) No food or drink service at the pool or beach.
Neutral: 1) Some of the staff super nice and they want their guests happy. Other team members less helpful or just do not know. When we pulled up into the driveway I was worried. This clearly is a converted old motel. Panic was quickly overcome with calm. The rooms are tranquil.
Would I come again? Not sure. For the price I would have expected more, hence 4 stars not 5. The value is just not there even during peak holiday time. This hotel has no real service yet is advertised as a “Resort.”
I would probably just look for an AIRBNB or VRBO instead. Probably would be cheaper and be just as nice.
If value is of no concern, you will not be disappointed.

There is practically nonstop noise at this property, day and night. All windows face a courtyard with a large pool where children start screaming at sunrise, loud music plays for most of the day, and late at night drunk guests add to the noise. This chaos rarely ends before 2 a.m., and by 6 a.m. it starts all over again. There is no real supervision during nighttime hours (the reception staff don’t resolve anything and service is nonexistent), so the police are occasionally called to quiet things down.
About a third of the property is taken up by a fenced-off technical area with extremely loud pool pumps; the rooms farther from the beach (roughly two-thirds of all rooms) face directly onto it. The same rooms face a road on the opposite side—it's not a highway, but it is still very loud. There is no soundproofing whatsoever, either inside the rooms or outside.
Many areas also smell strongly of mold. The motel has not been fully repaired after last year’s hurricanes, and some rooms remain boarded up. Overall, it’s a shame about the money spent and a vacation wasted. The photos look nice, but they have nothing to do with the actual comfort level.

IT says twin beds and they are cots. The air conditioning was too loud.

The destination you dont want to miss. Quite, Lesser crowds, Calm waters, Breathtaking sunsets. Small town Florida feel, ice creams shops, pizza places and bars on and near beach.
