It was ok
Pros:

The location was great. The people were helpful and friendly. The facility looked cheap and the colors were just awful. It was definitely overstimulating and I will never stay at a Tru by Hilton ever again. I am sure you are catering to younger people, but this design is just unappealing.

Cons:

I hated the room, the bed was uncomfortable, their was no closet. The hall was damp and smelled. There was no air in the hallway. The whole new design of this hotel is awful. I am sorry, I just feel like a hotel should be comfortable with appealing soothing colors.

Was hoping to like this hotel since we will be visiting frequently, but will be finding a different hotel for our stays.
Pros:

The property itself was fine.

Cons:

We had a cock roach in our room the first night and the second night they gave our room key to another person and they tried to get into our room in the middle of the night which scared us and we couldn’t go back to sleep.

I would come back
Pros:

modern, big bathroom & location

Cons:

The water pressure in the shower was not very strong, and maybe could have more variety and choices for the breakfast.

A short drive to the best universities in North Carolina. Clean clean clean!!
Pros:

The cleanliness of the hotel, common space, as well as the hotel room was noteworthy. The staff are friendly, responsive, and welcoming. Free breakfast is included and it offered hot food such as eggs, sausage, pancakes, and fresh fruit and not just your typical continental breakfast with stale pastries that most hotels offer for their “free breakfasts.” My stay was to move my daughter into her dorm at nearby UNC Chapel Hill and the location is close by and convenient. I will be returning for sure.

Cons:

Only negatives were that the toaster didn’t work and there wasn’t a closet in the rooms and just a rack to hang up your clothes. Overnight parking is nominal at $6, but it would have been nice to have that included with the hotel fees,
