Pros:

Everything in and outside. Very convenient place to stay. Its near to eveything and bus stop on bith ends are just a few steps outside the hotel.

Cons:

I thought there was a gym 😁 but still doesnt affect its excellence.

Happy, memorable holiday with family in Riccarton & staying at the Golden Hotel was the added bonus.
Pros:

I really enjoyed my stay at the Golden Hotel very much. So roomy & clean with plenty of bench space & facilities. Good Freeview television reception, lovely warm heat pump in the room & an ever so comfortable bed. AND the Rain Shower was just fabulous! Only a few minutes' walk to the Riccarton Westfield Mall, plus a bus stop at the front door & only a short ride to Christchurch City. If I ever have to come down to Riccarton again I will definitely be staying there. Thank you and Congratulations on operating such a welcoming hotel.

Cons:

The only critique I have is that the light in the rangehood wasn't working and I had trouble seeing what I was doing in the kitchenette. A friendly staff member told me that they didn't have a spare in the supply cupboard.

Generous size rooms, kitchenette, microwave,good size fridge,2 hob cooker top beautiful towels & bathrobes, rain head shower & hand held shower on adjustable height, brilliant cafe that is very popular with the Richmond locals(a very good sign of top food)Bus stop outside both sides of the road & free fares if you have a gold card,also free car parking ,The Golden Hotel is fairy new & is very quite no road or neighborhood noise also has lift access to the 3 floors and is very tidy well looked after hotel, friendly and helpful staff go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable,This going to be my go to Hotel whenever I visit Christchurch simply the best

非常好的酒店！新装修的酒店，一切都很新。交通也十分便利，周围中餐，韩餐，越南餐很多。可以有很多美食的选择。服务也很好，随时致电都可以接通并给予解决。我们是一家三口前往入住，预定的两张大床的房间，应该还有很多房型，选择性很多。总是非常满意。下一次如果我来基督城，还会入住。

It was a good value and a comfortable stay.
Pros:

Room was comfortable. Shower was very good. We had a nice stay despite the wrong room type..

Cons:

When we checked in, we were given room keys and we went to our room. We had booked a Deluxe King, but the room they gave us was two Queens. I went back to the check in and explained that I had booded a King room. She said that they didn't have a King so they "upgraded us for free" to the double Queen. We didn't see it as an upgrade. Can be a little dicey getting in and out of parking lot at busy times.
