Nice location. Staff are helpful, as much as they could. The facility itself gets an F. The indoor pool is closed. Our friends were given a room where the walls and ceiling were scraped with some sharp object. The elevators are mostly disabled because the card readers simply didn't work. They had to assemble a team of seven staffers to help run the elevators. Even their master keys didn't work. And at times the doors to our rooms wouldn't open with the cards they gave us. We will be asking Marriott for a full refund for our troubles.
I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The location was convenient, and everything went smoothly. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience and would gladly stay here again.
The fact that I had to pay extra for my car, should be included
One of the two elevators was broken during our entire 5-night stay. And during one of the days, both elevators were out of commission - forcing everyone to use the stairs (from the fourth floor).
I stayed here for my wedding that was held at OceanView of Nahant! Let me tell you this was the most amazing experience! Not only was it so nice but the staff made my life as a bride stress free. We looked at the comfort inn and 1. It wasn’t as nice 2. Didn’t face the ocean 3. Wasn’t as convenient 4. Same price (negotiate) 5. Staff didn’t answer emails 6. Had charges for everything even handing out gift bags! Springhill had it all so we picked it as our main hub hotel for the wedding. We also did our room block here and The sales manager Adnan Dzino was unbelievable!!! Went ABOVE & BEYOND with everything. Even answered emails from me months later about Marriot points & forgotten dresses. Needs a raise ASAP. Thank you again Springhill :)
Great hotel right by the beach, subway and local bars & restaurants.
Nothing.
Breakfast was pretty good and great location for our needs.
Booking was for 4 people. Pull out sofa we knew about and we were ok with it, but we were short pillows and sheets and had to ask for those and wait for a while and pick up all ourselves.
The view from my room was great! The restaurant had the best food... lobster rolls were amazing. Location was perfect for me- close to the airport. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Only sodas available in the store were zero sugar or diet.
The location was excellent!
There were a few problems we encountered at the location. The sofa bed was hard to assemble and there were not enough blankets and comforters for all of us. We had to call the front desk and guessed what their number was because there were no labeled instructions on how to contact the front desk. As well as blankets, there were not enough towels for the 4 people we had with our party. Also, there was no coffee maker nor cups provided in the room. Finally, it would be nice if you posted the hours of breakfast times in the room. For the amount of money paid, the arrive could have been so much better.
Finally, the bed was so uncomfortable. It was stiff and it was hard to sleep on. We were dissatisfied with all these problems and more so to find out that we had to pay for parking as well!?? How is it that we spent $430 on one night stay!??? For that amount of money, we expected the service to be top-notch.
Front. Desk management was no help and the person that makes any calls was apparently unreachable and had us wait in the lobby for three hours, very disappointed and may be my worst experience at a hotel just trying to check in. I wouldn’t have booked here if I knew the hotel didn’t have anyone to help us at the front desk. I’m currently still here waiting with 4 other parties waiting their turn. Save yourselves time and book elsewhere
The best things about this hotel are that it is fairly new, across the street from a beautiful beach, and serves good coffee at breakfast. The list ends there. My first morning at the hotel, the TV blared on of its own accord at 5:30 a.m., scaring me and waking me up, and leaving me wondering when this might occur again. When I spoke to the girl at the desk about it, I got a blank look and indifferent response. (This happened to another guest who reviewed recently here as well). Other things: the pool appears to have been out of commission for the last two months, a major loss; breakfast ends at the bafflingly early hour of 9 and runs out of food before then, creating a frantic scene of guests desperately hunting for missing food; the noisy restaurant opens directly onto the barren lobby, causing me to struggle to hear the person helping me to check-in through the uproar; hotel housekeeping comes only if you swipe for an app to request it; the shower pressure is far too low. Last but perhaps second-most irritating after the TV alarm going off, the already-very-slow elevators dropped a notch lower when one went out of order and was not repaired, at least, during the last 3 days of my stay. Because the waits were so long and elevators so crammed, people resorted just to getting on regardless of where the elevator was headed. This hotel bespeaks a management that does not care.
The location, staff, cleanliness, and room.
The elevators were ridiculous!!! We waited with so many other guests for the elevator. One elevator was broken and the other was very slow or did not work properly. It was very inconvenient.
The breakfast did not meet expectations. The staff, themselves, were amazing! They often ran out of food, like milk, yogurt, main entrees, or fruit.
Everything except the elevator problem and that the pool was not working. Also, I tried to cancel one night but both booking.com and the hotel gave me the run around and did nit help me
Location to the T
Their so called breakfast was horrible they got rid of cereal and fresh fruit for kids. The milk cooler was empty and the yogurt cooler empty. People had to eat out of bowls as there were no more paper plates.
Front desk said due to busy weekend but we stayed there before and had same issue no food that time we were told it was because they did not receive their delivery.
The room we stayed in had a chair in it that was stained and disgusting. Only one elevator working out of the two they have this was an issue the last time we stayed also.
Location was okay, not as great as I thought it would be traveling in from the west coast. Room was clean.
I prepaid a Double Queen with a sofa bed, Ocean view, upon arrival around 7:30pm they said my actual room wasn’t available, and they could offer me a partial Ocean View with free parking, whatever, but this tells a lot logically.
In our partial ocean view (or hotel bar view) our room was two towels, so this tells me housekeeping either doesn’t have a list of 4 people staying in our room, or they gave my room away. Nevertheless this whatever, try to call a few times for more towels and cant get anyone to answer the phone. I used hand towels to dry off, great. Next morning breakfast, everything is gone at 9am, i went to ask if they will replenish the food and two women on their phones said, Oh, theres only one person working the breakfast like I was suggesting this one person wasn’t doing a good job, my bad ladies, back to you phones. Why should I care if theres one person, perhaps get one woman off their phone to help the one guy. I did the non refundable option for the breakfast and my family went to starbucks. Not great, you can only get by on good looks for so long. Perhaps you should make it a policy to not allow your staff to get so high you cant see your eyes? I discourage you from staying here. Cheers!
