Accueil chaleureux de la part des hôtes. Le petit déjeuner est très bien, plutôt bien situé, et nettoyage des chambres nickel. Bon rapport qualité prix.

Everything , especially hosts were so welcoming and kind, Nargiza Opa made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Definitely recommending everyone. Breakfast is so delicious with view looking out the sea

My fiancée and I stayed in the Grand Balyan and we were so charmed. The location of the hotel was ideal, right in the heart of the old city. The breakfast was tasty and abundant. The room was nice. The bed was comfortable and was big enough for all of our luggage and for us to relax at the end of a day of exploring. The absolute best aspect of the hotel was the staff. Miss Sophia made us feel welcome immediately and was so kind and interested in our experiences and made it impossible not to love Istanbul. Just Miss Sophia’s hospitality made everything worth it. Я тоже бы хотел отметить русскоговорящие сотрудники отеля. Мисс Сузанна и Мисс Наргиз тоже делали все возможное чтобы мы чувствовали себя дома. I would recommend ANYONE to stay at this hotel. The staff alone make this in my opinion the best hotel in Istanbul.
There is nothing that I didn’t like in this hotel. I had a perfect stay.
Overall I had a very good experience. Specially Sophia was a really nice and helpful lady. She was so kind and helpful to me.
Needs a bit of improvement on the breakfast side. Breakfast was ok but it needs little bit more items to add.

Il letto era scomodo e appena ti muovevi faceva parecchio rumore, avevamo poi una perdita di acqua dal soffitto (zona bagno della camera di sopra).
The property is close by to all main attractions. Very very good location. The receptionist Sofia is an asset to the hotel. Most amazing staff member I have ever dealt with.

I needed a budget room for one night, preferably in the center of Istanbul.
I arrived late at night, and luckily, the shuttle dropped me right at the hotel's doorstep. The first downside was the steps at the entrance; they were quite steep, and I had a hard time climbing up with my suitcase (despite my fitness level). The hotel's biggest (and probably only) plus was the reception staff; they were very friendly and ready to help you with any questions.
I was given a small room, as I'd booked. I didn't have high expectations, but... I wasn't even sure whether to undress for bed: the bed linen, although clean (I hoped), was all in dark spools, making it feel like I was sleeping on dirty sandpaper. There was a lot of hair on the bathroom floor, clearly not mine.
Breakfast was served on the top-floor terrace, with a beautiful view (probably even more so in warm weather without dirty windows), but the breakfast itself was very basic, with only instant coffee available.
Another plus is the proximity to all the central attractions.

La ubicación es muy buena, cerca del Gran bazar y del puerto.
La habitación nuestra ( 503) no me gustó nada. Pequeña para 2 personas, la ventana arriba daba a un tejado sucio y la ducha no funcionaba bien, agua caliente sin fuerza.

Enjoyed our stay here! Rooms are clean and spacious, staff is very friendly and welcoming. Felt like home! Location of the hotel is very convenient, close to main touristic places and public transport stations (both trains and bus). Highly recommend booking this hotel!
