Celebrated my 30th birthday in the hills with a lovely view and good food. Mission successful!
Pros:

Breakfast spread was lovely. I enjoyed the options available and relished the dishes on the menu. Chef Devendra was super kind and gracious in welcoming us; his suggestions were great and we loved his enthusiasm.

Also, ended up trying their dinner buffet and enjoyed that experience too.

Disappointing Experience at Hyatt Regency Dehradun

Unfortunately, our stay at Hyatt Regency Dehradun was far below what we expected from a property of this standard and price. We had heard many good things about the hotel, which is why our expectations were quite high. However, the overall experience did not feel worth the amount we paid.
We stayed for 2 days and paid around ₹50,000, but unfortunately, the experience did not justify the cost.
One of the biggest issues was the loss of our car keys by the hotel staff. We had to wait for a considerable amount of time while the staff tried to locate them. This was extremely inconvenient and stressful, especially when you are staying at a premium hotel and expect basic things like valet/parking service to be handled properly.
The food was also not up to the mark. We expected much better quality considering the price and reputation of the hotel. Even the anniversary cake-cutting experience was disappointing. We were celebrating a special occasion and expected the hotel to make it memorable, but unfortunately, it felt very ordinary and did not meet our expectations.
The location of our room was also not ideal, and overall, the room experience did not feel like what we expected from a Hyatt property.
We also went to the swimming pool, but there was no staff present to assist us or provide proper service. For a hotel charging a premium amount, we expected better attention to guests and better hospitality throughout the property.
Another thing that made us uncomfortable was that staff members repeatedly approached us asking for a good review and even introduced themselves by name while doing so. We believe reviews should come naturally from the guest's experience rather than guests being repeatedly encouraged to leave positive feedback.
We actually chose not to give a review during our stay because it was our anniversary, and we didn't want to spoil our mood further by focusing on all the disappointments. We decided to wait and share our honest feedback afterward.

Cons:

It was overly hyped property. It was not worth the 35-40k we payed for night!

Don’t go with the photos first explore and then book! Worth not the money!
