Pros:

Right in the centre of town, can walk to everything (yes, it's a small country town). The room was small but the description says it's small so no issues there. If you're passing through and just looking for somewhere to put your head down and get a good night's rest then this is perfect. I slept well but then it was a Monday night so the town was very quiet after 10pm. Couldn't tell you what it would be like later in the week or the weekend. As advertised, there's only a shared bathroom on the other side of the building with one toilet, a bath and a shower. I had a late night shower and the water pressure was amazing with fabulous hot, hot water. They supplied soaps etc but they're pumps on the wall that kept falling off if I bumped it. Bring your own! I stayed middle of winter but there was an extra blanket and a well working heater available which I just set to a thermostat, and it kept me comfortable all night.

Pros:

Convenience for us with parking with a trailer available at back of pub.
Stroud is a quaint town and the pub friendly. Food was great ,serving sizes huge and reasonanle prices.
The room is literally just a room, no windows but a door onto the balcony.
High ceilings, no tv so very basic.
However, we knew this as well as shared bathroom and the bed was comfy.
Tea and coffee and water for the room available downstairs. We grabbed amazing brekkie at cafe Billy T, across the road.
Also great fun in vintage ware shops opppsite pub. Also quiet until.about 7am.

Cons:

The shared bathroom probably needed more keener eyes with the cleaning. And things like the toilet seats are showing age and probably need replacing.

Band Camp
Pros:

The shared bathroom was clean and the showers were functioning and hot.

Cons:

On a band night it will be impossible to sleep. The sound of customers and the live music travel up through the inner courtyard and through the rooms. If you have small children this will not be the choice for you. If you are a couple go see the band.

Lovely pub,but...
Pros:

The pub had good meals and atmosphere. The room was very clean with fluffy towels.

Cons:

Although there were many rooms empty, they gave me a room that was furthest from the amenities. Surely, they could have swapped me into something closer! Also, the main air-conditioning unit was right outside my door and kept clicking on and off all night. I would have thought the airconditioning would be switched off once the pub shut for the night?

Pros:

Turned up very late to check in on a Saturday night and the bloke was about as chill as a beer on ice. There was a band playing and the place was in full swing, perfect start to a holiday.

Pros:

Bequemes Bett. Im Aufenthaltsraum Tee, Kaffee, Mikrowelle, Toaster. Gemeinschaftstoiletten getrennt nach D/H.

Cons:

Die Sanitäranlagen haben die besten Zeiten hinter sich. Gelegentlich darf man auch mal in einen neuen WC Sitz investieren. Zimmer sehr spartanisch aber für den Preis ok.

Pros:

We loved staying in Stroud. Beautiful country town and Everyone is very friendly and the food was excellent. We Played pool and enjoyed happy hour.

Cons:

The only thing that wasn’t great was the bed was really uncomfortable so I didn’t sleep well.
