Radio Hotel

-Bus rijd tussen 17.00-19.00 moeizaam, stopt voor de brug vanwege de drukte en moet je de lange brug overlopen
-Van de 4 nachten maar 1x de kamer schoongemaakt, ook alleen ff snel bed opgemaakt en schone handdoeken. Vloer en douche word niet afgenomen/schoongemaakt tijdens ons verblijf.
-Er wordt teveel beslag gelegd op je creditcard. Borg per nacht $50 was bekend. Maar bij aankomst komt er nog meer bij borg tegen roken in de ruimtes boven de $200 etc. Door deze reservering op je creditcard heb je minder te besteden wat je op voorhand niet weet.
Binnen een week word de reservering opgeheven.
-Balie onderbezet , staat 1 man die zowel het inchecken uitchecken als de broodjeszaak moet doen. Hierdoor lange wachtrijen
-Ligt toch in een niet prettig wijkje, voor in de avond. Beetje Spaans/Cubaans gedeelte. Als vrouw in je eentje zijnde loop je er niet prettig. Veel wiet zaakjes ook in de straten.
-Voor ontbijt word $25 dollar gevraagd pp per dag. Dit is veel te veel. Bakker en dunkin donuts zit er ook in de straat, lekker daar een broodje / bagel/ sapje of koffie halen.

Przy wymeldowaniu chciałem oddać te vouchery niestety nie było takiej opcji więc za 2 crosainty ( średniej jakości) i 2 kawy zapłaciliśmy 54 $ cuciłem jeszcze wodę ale musiałbym dopłacić gotówką

The room was a health hazard everything was dirty with
Stains on the bed and bed sheets that god knows what they were. I asked for full refund and they refuse to do it.

The staff were very unfriendly and often met our interactions with silence stares. The bathroom was poorly designed. The shelf on the mirror jutted out over the tiny sink, making it impossible to wash your face or to do your make up in the bathroom. Because the freestanding shower and bathroom were located in the middle of the room, water leaked out of the shower every time you used it, including into the bedroom. The couch and chairs located in the living room area of the suite were very worn down and gross looking, and when we pulled out the pullout bed from the sofa, it was full of crumbs. Also, the fire alarm went off the second night we were there three times in the middle of the night and nobody said anything to us about it or attempted to apologize for it or provide any compensation back to us for an entire night of miss sleep

Nice Rooms, But Service Was Subpar

I wanted to really like Radio Hotel because the rooms were nice, and I appreciated management upgrading me after the central air wasn’t working properly in the first room I was given. That was a positive gesture.

Unfortunately, the overall experience fell short.

The staff was mediocre at best, and the two complimentary drink tickets I received were limited to white or red sangria. Unfortunately, the sangria did not taste fresh, so I chose not to drink it.

What really ruined the experience for me was dinner. I was actually looking forward to eating at the restaurant and had no problem spending the money. However, as soon as I sat down at the bar, I noticed two cockroaches on my seat. At that point, I immediately lost my appetite and decided there was no way I was eating there. I ended up going to a bodega and buying food instead.

For nearly $400 for one night, I expect a much higher level of cleanliness, service, and overall experience. I don’t mind spending money when the experience is worth it, but this simply wasn’t.

The rooms are nice, and management did make an effort to resolve the air-conditioning issue, but unfortunately, nice rooms can’t make up for poor service and seeing cockroaches where you’re supposed to be dining.

Nice hotel, but for the price, I expected much better.
