A short stay in the Old City of Montreal
Pros:

The hotel's location is excellent, in the heart of the Old City, just a short walk from Place Jacques-Cartier. There are plenty of restaurants, cafés, and shops nearby.

The staff were fantastic—polite, friendly, and always willing to help.

However, the hotel itself appeared older than expected and was not as luxurious as it looked in the photos. It would definitely benefit from a renovation or refresh.

Cons:

The breakfast was rather disappointing, with very limited variety. Considering the price of the hotel, I expected a much wider selection of food and a better choice of coffee.

Fantastic value and comfort for the location.
Pros:

Excellent location on the north end of old Montreal. Easy access to Metro and the waterfront. Restaurant was great - especially the breakfast buffet! The staff was also very frienndly and accommodating. Oh and the rooftop pool had incredible views.

Cons:

The scent in the main lobby. Couldn't tell if it was intentional or a combination of incense and kitchen smells.

Ein tolles Hotel für einen mehrtägigen Aufenthalt in Montreal
Pros:

Ein tolles Hotel zum Einstieg in die Ost Kanada Rundreise. Schöne Zimmer in den oberen Stockwerken mit (lageabhängig) tollem Blick auf die Altstadt und den St. Lorenz Strom. Das beste und reichhaltigste Frühstück aller Hotels unserer Reise. Dachterrasse und Pool ermöglichten willkommene Erfrischung nach der Lauferei durch Montreal, bedingt durch die Poolheizung auch an kühleren Somnertagen. Die Randlage des Hotels zur Altstadt empfanden wir als angenehm weil ruhig. Innerhalb 10 Minuten Fußweg ist man mitten im Trubel und an der Metro.
Der Zimmerpreis ist gehoben aber das Gebotene rechtfertigt ihn.

Cons:

Dreimal in einer Nacht durch Feuer-Fehlalarme geweckt zu werden ist nicht angenehm. Klar ist, Brandschutz steht über allem und ist im Sinne der Gäste. Es hätte uns allerdings gefreut, wenn zu dem bloßen Entschuldigungsschreiben unter der Zimmertür auch ein kleiner Gutschein z.B. für die Hotelbar gesteckt hätte. Diese Geste hätte uns sehr gefreut und den zehnten Bewertungsstern gerechtfertigt.

Zentrale Lage, fussläufige Erreichbarkeit von Sehenswürdigkeiten in Vieux Montreal

Cons:

Personal zum großen Teil nicht gastfreundlich, es war eher eine Massenabfertigung, Frühstück mit geringer Auswahl, Sitzbänke im Frühstücksraum dreckig, qualitativ okay, Zimmermöbel in Ordnung, zum Teil abgestoßen

I would stay there again.
Pros:

Great hotel. Quiet area just at the edge of Rue St Paul. Close to everything but a nice place to escape the busy streets. Wonderful restaurant.

Comfortable, Professional, Well-Staffed
Pros:

1) The entire property is run very well with sufficient staffing, very professional service, and very clean
2) Used the rooftop every night. The views are fantastic and seating comfortable
3) The breakfast was included in our rate and we were glad we had it. Buffet is plentiful and atmosphere professional
4) The location is just a few blocks from the beginning of old town. Only negative to point out is that the location is
basically just outside the quaint area and in more of the residential sliding into the industrial. Not a huge deal
unless you want the quaint right outside your door

Cons:

Room was a bit small and the coffee maker was louder than any I have used in memory. Again, not a big deal as all was very clean and housekeeping on top of everything.
