We have been to Prince smart sanjo 3x now always excellent we can’t fault the place, the staff are exceptional, greet when you arrive back after busy day and greet when leaving, more expensive place to stay but great place to stay in Kyoto, thanks

Quiet, stylish, quick check in and check out and secure
Pros:

Quiet room despite the insane tourist bustle in the Sanjo area
Great shower experience - horizontal jets as well as hand held and rainfall heads.

Cons:

I need a kettle, mug and spoon in a 3-star room.
The room rate is certainly enough to cover this.
Please provide access to this.
If not in each room, then there MUST be a tea and coffee machine available 24/7 in the lobby.

Needs more amenities and better use of space
Pros:

Location was great, on a lateral street, little to no noise. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Room was of decent size with very good pillows and maitress, a good working shower.

Cons:

There are basically no amenities in the room, never saw such a poor equipped room in Japan. you have the bed plus one cheap small ikea-like table and 2 chairs. Nothing else, not for your bathroom products or clothes. It is a complete waste of space.

The dark colour of the hotel gives a bit of claustrophobia, while “the light breakfast” is tea/coffee (which in a normal hotel are available 24/7) plus a spoon of omlette and a cheap small croissant. In all 5 days was the same.

The laundry room had only 2 working machines, which were dirty (the entire room needs a good clean).

Pros:

The location and the shower facilities.

Cons:

The room is not sound proff from the hall, where you can hear everything,so you get a bad sleep. Please sove this issue.
And the washing machine failed.
