Het restaurant was gesloten en dat hadden wij graag vantevoren geweten omdat het hotel buiten het dorp ligt aan een slecht verlichte zeer bochtige weg waar erg hard gereden wordt
Prima locatie, dicht bij Waywardside en verschillende restaurants en barretjes.
De kamer ontbrak sommige basiselementen: ik miste een nachtlampje, mijn collega had geen bestek, nochtans is er een keuken beloofd. Ik heb verschillende dagen geen toiletpapier gehad en moest er zelf halen aan het onthaal (soms meerdere keren moeten vragen voor ik er ontving). Bij het uitchecken was er ook niemand aanwezig (ondanks dat het zogezegd al een halfuur zou open zijn) waardoor ik de verschillende gebreken niet kon melden. De kamer is over het algemeen zeer donker en verouderd. Het was ook duidelijk dat de kamer tussendoor niet grondig gepoetst werd.
Niets
Zwembad groen, niet in te zwemmen. Kamers stinken naar riool. Halve dag geen water. Slechte service. Airco op balkon, viel niet op te zitten met airco uitlaatgassen.
Location (just near the centre of Windwardside). The view from some rooms is great! Airconditioning. When the water pressure and temperature is right, the shower is comfy. The hotel manager is helpful to solve some issues.
There were some issues with water, as I understood due to limited tab water on the island. First night I didn’t have warm tab water, so I was replaced to another room. Last night I didn’t have tab water at all. I got another room again. Rooms were not always that clean (hair and dust on the floor). The hotel is 4 years old, but looks like the 1980’s. Not that fresh, dark and a bit musty. Price is quite high for the quality, but there are not so many alternatives. I wish the hotel more ‘soul’ and dedication to details and hospitality.
The place was peaceful but stating that the restaurant was out of commission would have been a plus as we travelled from another country and coming to Saba for the first time without transportation.

We had no water for one morning, but they fixed it really fast!
And we could borrow walking sticks for free!!

Pas de petit dejeuner , coupure d'eau la nuit a 20h et retour a 7h , si je rentre a 22 h , je ne peux pas me doucher .
Le matin, juste une machine pour servir un café au lait avec du pain ou autre ça serait top . Du coup on utilise pas la piscine, rien est servi a boire ...un peut frustrant et dommage pour le gérant
Clean comfortable room. Bathroom felt freshly done. Lovely balcony with view. Swimming pool is excellent. Great location, short wander into Windwardside for food.
Very minor TLC needed, i.e. our balcony chair was broken.

Kamer te klein, bed te klein. Alles aanwezig in de keuken, maar geen gootsteen, water halen uit de wastafel in de badkamer BIZAR.
Restaurant was dicht wegens een verbouwing. Gelukkig dicht bij het dorp voor ontbijt en dinner
Saba Arawak is a wonderful place to return to after a day hiking. It is super close to the mt. Scenery trailhead and an easy walk to Windwardside. A refreshing dip in the outdoor pool was lovely. Our room had a balcony overlooking both the pool and the town and it was the perfect place to start the day with a deliciously strong cup of coffee from reception. Mohamed and Cassie at the front desk were super helpful and a delight to chat with. We really enjoyed Saba and staying at the Saba Arawak played a big part in that. Can’t wait till the new restaurant opens.

Very good
The location is beautiful and very close to town. Nice swimming pool overlooking the mountains, village and the sea.
The kitchen was under-equipped — that's relevant, because there's not a lot of places to eat in the village and the hotel restaurant wasn't under refurbishment.
The balcony is great, and there's a beautiful view, but the window is very small and the balcony door is wooden. So one actually needs lights on during the day
