Location was fine, but proximity to airport and bad sound isolation meant every plane was very loud.
Thin walls and our room was close to the check in counter, where 2 employers were chatting really loudly during their night shift, could not sleep well.
Stayed here for one night only since we were attending the World Cup.
Pros:
Proximity to the football stadium is great. We walked maybe 15 minutes or so and were at the stadium gate. It is walking distance from Starbucks and several restaurants. Yes there is a lot of homeless, but we felt fine walking back from a movie at 10pm with our kids. The balcony overlooking the pool was cute. The room was very updated and clean. Low beds. Very firm mattress, mediocre pillows. Roomy shower! We did valet and the staff was very nice. They also stored our luggage furring the game.
Cons:
The airport sound is there, but they did have a white noise machine to use. We brought our own and I could barely hear but a couple of planes. The shopping center across the way has no shops open! It must be brand new. We ate at the grill at the casino (walking distance) it was so delicious. The biggest set back was the automatic light that came on when you walk in the bathroom because there is a window to the bedroom area, and it lit up the entire room when someone walked in to the restroom - and there is no way to shut that feature off. I recommend covering it with some painters tape if you have the space in your luggage.
The price is double what you will pay to stay closer to the airport; however, this hotel gets you out of having to deal with the infamous LA traffic and finding parking. I’d stay here again out of convenience if I were attending a sporting event or concert in this area.
When I came to check in I had to wait 40 minutes to be able to valet my car. I was charged 110 dollars for one day for valet. I also had to go get my own car from the back. Won’t be staying here again.
Service , room , grate services.
NA
Location to SoFi and the Sports Bar
Terrible beds very uncomfortable
Auto light in bathroom with window into room meant the light flooded into bedroom straight onto beds so those sleeping were woken
Muy bonito y moderno
Preferiria que tuviera eatacionamiento normal y al salir al balcon las sillas de mi habitacion no tenia cojines y si los necesitaban y note otros balcones si los tenian !
Front desk are so rude,,
Hotel is discussing , uncomfortable beds, they didn’t give me the room i paid for month in advance. One of my worst stays at any hotels.
My reservation was for 3 nights but couldn’t stay any longer ..so i left, i will definitely file a dispute .
It was awful in every area specially they didn’t give me the room i reserved for.
My husband and I had a wonderful stay at The Anthem Tapestry Collection. The journey began with our front desk hostess Cinthia Ramos. She could not have been more welcoming, kind, polite, and professional. She helped us navigate an early check in and made sure that when we arrived, everything was in its proper order. When we entered our room with a pool view, we could not have been happier. The room had everything we needed for a great overnight stay. Its modern decor was light and refreshing, with plenty for room to move around. The beds and pillows were very which added to a good nights sleep. And although I didn’t have a lot of time to spend at the pool, the time I did get was lovely. The pool lounges are also set in a modern decor. Tom’s Watch Bar for food and beverage offered a great variety of affordable snacks and entrees. The wait staff were cheerful and accommodating and the food was tasty & satisfying.
All in all, my husband and I had a wonderful stay and should we revisit the Kia Forum for another concert, we will definitely choose The Anthem as our home away from home.
And don’t for get to ask for Cinthia Ramos! She is a “can do” gal who will work to make your stay that much better!
The Anthem was a great stay - updated rooms and amenities. The vibe was updated retro and felt like an old school motel, with updates. Cynthia at the front desk was great, very hospitable and welcoming. 10/10 for the great interaction with Cynthia!
Unsafe, unsafe, unsafe, unsafe environment. Do not stay here. I repeat unsafe.
After an exhausting day of travel from New York to Los Angeles, including flight delays, we landed only to discover that our reservation had been canceled on the day of arrival.
Apparently, the hotel had attempted to charge my credit card earlier that day and sent an email stating there was an issue with payment. Unfortunately, that email was sent while I was traveling cross-country, making it impossible for me to see and respond to it. Rather than allowing me to arrive and provide an updated payment method, the hotel simply canceled the reservation.
When I called the hotel to ask what happened, the representative was surprisingly dismissive and told me to "refer to the email and you'll figure out why" instead of explaining the situation or offering assistance. I then contacted Hilton Customer Service, hoping they could help. Unfortunately, that experience was no better. The representative suggested that I should have called the hotel to tell them my flight was delayed, which seemed completely unrelated to the issue. No attempt was made to help rebook the room or find a solution.
What made the situation even more frustrating was that the hotel still had rooms available. I was able to go on the Hilton app and book a room at the same hotel myself within minutes. So the hotel canceled my reservation despite having plenty of availability.
Upon arrival, the front desk agent apologized and offered what was described as an upgraded balcony room for the inconvenience. However, the balcony was rusty and overlooked a rooftop, making the "upgrade" feel more symbolic than meaningful.
The most disappointing part of this experience was the complete lack of empathy and customer service from both the hotel staff and Hilton Customer Service. Problems happen, but how they're handled matters. A little communication, understanding, and willingness to help would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, that was completely missing from this experience.
