The location is just perfect.
There were stains on the carpet. The bathroom wasn’t clean enough so I use slippers to take a shower. We asked for an iron, and we needed to call several times because they were very late. And the iron was just in a very poor condition. The furnitures ( e.g.wardrobe) are already shabby. And the breakfast was miserable.

Great stay! The room was large, comfortable, modern, and very clean. Personnel was kind. Overall good value for money as well if you compare to the competing options around. Extremely well located. You can get a sea view if you choose the corresponding room. Street just below didn’t bother, it is one way and the hotel has well isolated windows.
The breakfast (buffet) was not at the standard I would have expected. Pastries were very mid, fruit was not good, selection was very limited. Of course we could have ordered from the breakfast menu and payed for each ordered dish, but to me that defeats the purpose having breakfast included. Either it is à la carte and you pay, or it is all included in the breakfast fee (whether this entails buffet and/or à la carte), irrespective of whether this is included in the room price or you pay in addition. Can’t say I liked that two tier system. Also, a bit surprising given that the hotel restaurant serves very good food (we were very happy about it), thus we expected this would translate into the morning.

The staff is so welcoming and helpful!! The hotel is beautiful and placed well in thessaloniki just in front of the sea. It was the best choice for a short weekend!
