Most Alofts are awesome. This was awful!
Pros:

Location. Bar staff was super friendly.

Cons:

We had a room directly above the automatic opening doors in the lobby. We literally heard every person either come in or leave with the rumbling and vibrating of the door. Why would staff knowingly book someone in a room like that for 2 nights.

Great hotel, loved the pool, and big windows

Dissapointing
Pros:

This is our second time at the Aloft hotel. The first time was fine. But, when we arrived back to Anchorage the second time, we got a room on the ground floor with Cars parking just next to our room's window.

Clean, New, but not real responsive to issues.
Pros:

Very clean and newer.

Cons:

They initially gave us a queen room, when we had ordered and were promised a king bed room. Also, the TV in the king bed room to which we were transferred did not work the entire 7 day period we stayed there. We mentioned it several days in a row., with no change. They even had a Marriott number with someone's name to call if there was an issue. No response received for a call made a week ago. Certainly, we didn't go on vacation to watch TV, but there were some world cup games on that I missed.

Comfortable stay close to the airport
Pros:

Comfy beds, great outdoor seating area and pool, lots of space inside the rooms

Cons:

Not great soundproofing, and the walls/floor creak loudly at night. The Circle K across is a little sketchy so be careful what time of day you go in.

Not too bad of a stay. I would recommend to anyone.
Pros:

The location was great. It was close to a lot of food options and local Walmart was in walking distance.

Cons:

The homeless population just hanging around the gas station across the street which affected the esthetic of the location. Secondly, was the paper thin walls. You could hear conversations in the next room.
