We had a wonderful experience at the Afternoon Bar and Grill! Brittany was an amazing bartender—so attentive, friendly, and full of great humor. She was incredibly helpful when it came to recommending local spots and giving us the best directions to get around.

Chef April made the best burgers, and Ron was welcoming and funny, which made the atmosphere even better.

Cons:

We did experience a hiccup on our first morning with the plumbing in our room. It took three calls to the morning staff before maintenance arrived, which was frustrating. It also delayed our activities that day!

A good choice for access to the French Quarter
Pros:

Friendly, helpful staff. I had made a request with my booking, and the lady who checked us in originally responded to that request and remembered me. She ensured the room met our needs.

Cons:

Rooms are more utilitarian than most, lacking some aesthetics found in other brands. But we had everything we needed and were comfortable.

Beautiful and friendly hotel
Pros:

The hotel was beautiful and clean! The restaurant has delicious food and the staff were helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and we were able to get extra towels and coffee easily.

Cons:

There wasn't a working fan the bathroom. We couldn't find a switch but it looked there was one in the ceiling.

It’s was ok.
Pros:

The restaurant food was really good. Staff was really friendly at the restaurant.

Cons:

Check in was kind of rushed and she really wasn’t focused. She didn’t answer my questions correctly and it even said my card declined which it didn’t and she wasn’t focused. But the GM reassured me that everything was fine and he gave me my key. Cause declined card??? NEVER!! The TV wasn’t working and once again the lady at the front desk wasn’t helpful. They sent one person and said they were sending another and he never came. So we just put the sleep sign on the door and watched tv on our phones.

It was great for what we came for
Pros:

I loved it’s location to downtown and to bourbon St.

Cons:

I wished the building was a bit more modern and the rooms were more modern. The bathrooms were amazing, but the rooms had an older feel that didn’t give the sake vibe as the bathrooms. We live in DC and the Canopy in DC has very modern rooms so I was expecting that. Loved the value of the rooms though.

Muy bien ubicado, personal amable, de hecho me permitieron hacer check in antes de la hora. Cama muy comfortable, habitacion amplia y baño de buen tamaño

Cons:

Todo estuvo realmente bien y con buena relacion costo calidad, a pesar de haber reservado solo 3 dias antes de la estadia
