I'll try to be honest but fair. It's actually a great little budget hotel, it just wasn't what we were expecting based on the listing. But I would recommend it as long as you've researched the location and understand that it's a smaller hotel. It's great value compared with the over-priced bigger hotels in the tourist zone.
There are many positives:
- The simple, healthy, complimentary breakfast is great. We liked the fresh fruit, yoghurt, cherry tomatoes, boiled eggs, and toast.
- There was a cool machine in the wardrobe that airs and/or dries your clothes. Once we figured out how to use it, we loved it. :-)
- If you're a walker/runner, you can get to the great river walking/cycle paths to the west in about 5-10 minutes. The big Lotte department store and a big eMart is directly north up the main road, but that's about 20-25 minutes. But it's a good trek if you need to get your steps, and the Lotte food court has some fantastic, well-priced meals.
- The bed was definitely premium. I couldn't feel my partner turn/get in and out of bed. Very comfy.
- It's not near the tourist areas, but we quite enjoyed that. We stayed in town for 4 nights and then here. We got to see a bit more of the everyday Jeonju in this location.
- There weren't many places to put your stuff - shelves or benches, etc. - just the ground. And there wasn't much wardrobe space. Some hooks on the walls for towels, coats, and hats would also be handy.
- There were only paper cups. We ended up buying our own mugs from the Daiso up the road (about 5-10 min walk) because we were there for 4 nights and drink a lot of tea and coffee.
- Other people have mentioned the lack of shower screen so I won't go on about it. Can be managed better if you hold the shower head in your hand.
- No room safe, but maybe that's not common in smaller hotels here...
- fyi, the bathroom door is semi transparent, with some clear sections, and doesn't seal at the top and bottom. This type of thing is increasingly common in modern hotels, so I'm calling it out. We miss proper bathroom doors with privacy, sigh :-(

The room and ensuite were a great size, and I found the hotel to be in a great location. It was only a short walk to the bus stops we needed, and a short taxi ride to the bus station. The room was really clean and had an air purifier which was pretty cool. It was quite warm and humid while we were in Jeonju so we made good use of the aircon in the room - I can confirm it works very well. The hotel had breakfast which included toast, a wide array of fruit, eggs, cereal, yoghurt and juice, and it was quite convenient being able to put our food on a tray to eat back in our room.
The only issue I had with my stay was noise. I am not sure if there was a family above us or a room was being cleaned at midnight, but the stomping, dragging of chairs and toilet flushing kept us up and impacted our sleep both nights we were there. If I was staying longer I probably would have raised this with management, as I think it may have been more a case of noisy guests than a reflection on sound proofing of the rooms. Other than this issue we enjoyed our stay.
The room was clean and spacious. There were a lot of nifty tech controls and the steam room was a bonus. There was a PC in the room with wifi and the TV had good options. The beds were very comfortable. Very easy check in and check out. Coffee facilities downstairs. Very close to several cafes, including mcdonald's, and bus routes
The bathroom got very wet when showering as there was no shower curtain. The bath tap spurted and leaked. Similarly the tap in the sink area very easily spurted everywhere. We had to ask for big towels. This might be a cultural difference from what we're used to.
Location just a short (7 minute) bus ride to the Hanok village. Beautiful rooms, excellent WiFi, great breakfast and great pricing!

Conveniently situated for buses from the railway station and for getting into the city centre. Supermarkets nearby.
Breakfast is collected from reception and then eaten in your room. Not the worse thing in the world but not quite the best either……
Immaculate, great location, very nice breakfast and the staff were very pleasant.
