Fabulous- and the Villa won!
Pros:

We cannot thank Sejman and all of the staff at La Vida enough for our stay in May.
The hotel is in a plum spot, situated in beautiful Sultanahmet with the Blue Mosque and Sophia, the trams and many restaurants.
We had a warm welcome on arrival late at night and after a long flight.
When a larger, brighter room became available we had the option to move which we did and it was painless.
The transfers were arranged for us to and from the hotel so we were very happy with our stay. Thankyou La Vida

Seaman and Caesar made us feel like we were home.
Pros:

Seaman and Caesar gave us wonderful help in every way.As older travelers, they were even willing to walk with us if needed. Gave us excellent recommendations and very helpful with an excursion that had problems. Out of their way to offer breakfast while we waited for room to be ready which was early check in.. Very clean and modern room. If stairs carpet replaced, I think hotel would become a higher star rating.. Excellent air conditioning..quiet and quick to cool room.

Cons:

Housekeeping:: I had put out sheet to use instead of duvet. She kept removing. Toilet not cleaned every day and basket liner not replaced

Triple room 104 is nothing like the photos
Pros:

Good location, can walk to most landmarks. Breakfast was pretty good.

Cons:

Booked the triple room I saw in the photos. Was given room 104, which is a double size room made into a triple. Room was small and cramped, nothing like the advertised photos.
Shower in bathroom needs repair. The seal under the shower door is broken so water leaks all over the floor. Had to roll up the shower mat and towels and stuff it by the door to prevent the water from leaking out of the shower.
Asked for another room but was told nothing was available. Did not have time to dispute or look for another place, so we just made it work the best we could. If you book a triple and they lead you to 104, immediately ask for another room.

Amazing stay with outstanding hospitality and a perfect location in Istanbul.
Pros:

Excellent location in the heart of Istanbul with easy access to the main attractions, restaurants, and transport. The staff and hosts were extremely friendly, welcoming, and always willing to assist. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and the overall atmosphere made us feel at home. Great service throughout our stay and we would definitely return again.

Cons:

Nothing major to complain about. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

Turkish hospitality at its best. Hidden jam right in the city center.
Pros:

It was a great experience staying at La Vida Hotel in Istanbul. This was my first time in Istanbul and hotel staff was so welcoming and helpful, it made my visit very memorable. Thank you for all the advise and all great conversations. This hotel is right near Sultanahmed square in quite district, 2 minutes to main attractions.Also great + to this hotel is that downstairs there is a restaurant, where in the morning they serve breakfast, it is also great for evening meal. Very tasty. I reccommend this hotel, as it trully has this Turkish hospitality that you might not find in big chain hotels. Teşekkür ederim, çok memnun kaldım

Cons:

Only challenge was sometimes to get water in the shower to the comfortable temperature, sometimes it went super hot. However this is a smallest thing. Everything was great during my stay.

Le personnel très gentil et l’emplacement idéal pour tout faire à pieds. Le petit déjeuner était très bon.

Cons:

Le manque de propreté et la vétusté de la salle de bain. Nous avons pris la chambre avec jacuzzi, ce dernier avait le bouchon d’évacuation cassé, nous avons du attendre le dernier soir pour pouvoir en profiter. L’eau dans la douche était soit bouillante soit gelée donc très difficile de se doucher convenablement.

Cudowna obsługa, uśmiechnięta i pomocna.

Cons:

Pokoje wymagałyby już renowacji. Pod prysznicem albo bardzo ciepła woda, albo zimna.

Güzeldi, personel iyiydi, sakin otel, konumu harika Sultanahmete 5 dakikalık.. sadece odası küçükdü ama sabah çıkıp akşam geldiyimiz için pek bi fark olmadı
