Great value, location, room and staff.
Pros:

The staff, room and location are amazing. The bed was the most comfortable we have slept in in years (including our own). The staff went out of their way to answer our questions about restaurants and activities. They welcomed us with smiles, attention and courtesy. The room was super clean, well-appointed, big enough to be really comfortable and fresh. Highly recommend this facility. We will stay again on our next trip to Bar Harbor!

Excellent value - we booked off season.
Pros:

Excellent value. Clean, simple but comfortable. Many amenities for the price. Good location for walking around Bar Harbor. Very helpful and welcoming staff. Book a first floor room if you want to avoid stairs.

Fabulous stay! Walking distance to waterfront/shops. Comfortable. Great value.
Pros:

We booked almost last minute. I was worried about the price being lower than two other places I was looking at, that were less convenient to downtown Bar Harbor, & the fact that, even with the lower price there were vacancies. My expectations were not very high. What a wonderful surprise! It was a fabulous place to stay! Right in town, clean, modern, free parking. Although they stated there was no breakfast, they did have fresh fruit, yogurt, trail mix, water, coffee, tea, and nutrition bars 24 hours. We checked in at 11 p.m. after staffing, but they had an envelope awaiting us with our name on it, keys, and instructions. Lovely music was playing in the lobby. It felt so welcoming. When we met the staff, they were so friendly and kind. I would definitely stay here again and recommend Main Street Motel.

Cons:

The pillows. They were too thick/high and made my neck hurt a little. One of my daughter's pillows was a little thinner, so I used hers the second night and slept better. There were three pillows on each of the queen beds. It would be great if there could be a little variety in types of loft, so guests can choose what works best for them.

Pros:

The beds were very comfortable. Never ran out of hot water after a day of hiking. The location was close to everything. Was very pleased with our stay.

Definitely will stay with them again.
Pros:

The location was the best, close 2 min walk to downtown bar harbor, with shopping/bars/food near us.

Cons:

overall the motel was really nice, one thing is just little bit of cleanliness. we found some bugs in the room.

Very nice motel. Would definitely stay there again.
Pros:

Hooks on the bathroom door or somewhere in bathroom to hang towels would be good.

Cons:

My spouse didn't like the small amount of counter space in bathroom. No where to leave things. I was okay with it but many motels have more counter space so you can leave your personal items there.

Great location and easy checkin.
Pros:

Great location! We could walk to all shops/restaurants and to bar island. It was nice to have water bottles, coffee, and snacks available in the lobby.

Cons:

Tad older motel with small bathroom/vanity but we had what we needed for two night.
