Lovely little hotel right on the port. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Quiet despite the busy promenade below.

Le foto non rappresentano assolutamente la realtà, non abbiamo potuto fare la vasca idromassaggio in camera perché troppo sporca, nè fare colazione la mattina perché partivamo prima dell’orario previsto per il servizio. In tutti gli altri alberghi in cui abbiamo alloggiato, permettevano la colazione anche prima dell’orario, nel caso gli ospiti dovessero andarsene prima. Il proprietario non ci ha rivolto parola, oltre a dirci che la camera non era pronta al nostro arrivo ed averci fatto aspettare più di un’ora. Prezzo altissimo per questo tipo di servizio.

The location, the breakfasts and the staff were all excellent
No complaints at all
Our stay at Liman Hotel in Gümüşlük started with a little bit of a shock, arriving with our luggage and having to navigate our way from the transfer drop-off to find the hotel wasn’t quite what we expected! But once we settled in, we quickly began to appreciate what makes this little place special.
The location is excellent, right in the heart of Gümüşlük, with absolutely beautiful views over the bay. Our room was neat, clean and comfortable and we really enjoyed waking up each morning to breakfast and those unmatched views.
What stood out most for us, though, were the people. A very special mention to Moslem and Erdhaan, who genuinely made our time at Liman memorable. They took the time to sit and speak with us, share stories about themselves, their backgrounds and where they come from. Those conversations may seem like a small thing, but for us they added something very personal to our stay and are part of what we’ll remember about Gümüşlük.
We’d also like to say a special thank you to the lovely lady who cleaned our room each day. Unfortunately, we can’t remember her name, but her care and attention certainly didn’t go unnoticed.
We enjoyed the breakfast every morning, loved being right in the heart of Gümüşlük and the views from Liman are truly difficult to beat.
It may have taken us a moment to adjust when we first arrived, but by the time we left, Liman had become a memorable part of our Bodrum experience, not just because of where it is, but because of the people we met there.

There were, however, a few small details that we feel could make a meaningful difference to the overall guest experience.
It would have been helpful to know in advance that vehicles cannot access the hotel directly and that there is a walk from the parking/drop-off area to the property, particularly when arriving with luggage. There was also no assistance with our bags on arrival as there is no front desk, I had to leave my wife in the parking with our luggage, find the hotel, walk up to the restaurant and ask for help. For a boutique hotel, this is one of those small touches of hospitality that can go a long way, especially after a long journey.
The other aspect we found challenging was the noise later in the evenings. The hotel restaurant remains lively until quite late and our room was rather unusually positioned directly alongside the dining area. It also appeared that both hotel residents and outside restaurant guests passed through the main hotel entrance, so there was a fair amount of movement, conversation and noise late into the night. In all our travels, having a guest room quite so close to an active dining space was certainly a first for us.
Perhaps guests booking these particular rooms could simply be made aware of this beforehand, especially those who prefer an earlier or quieter evening.
These are relatively small details and certainly don’t take away from the things we enjoyed about Liman. The location is fantastic, the views are beautiful, and overall we had a good and memorable stay. With a little additional attention to the arrival experience and late-night noise, it could make an already lovely stay that much better.

We had such a great stay at this hotel. The location is truly exceptional—super central and just a short walk from all the restaurants and shops. The staff, especially the owners Özcan and Yasemin, were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile, and made us feel looked after throughout the whole stay. The breakfast was honestly a highlight. Everything was fresh, local, and you could taste the quality. They even customized a few things when we asked, which was such a nice touch. Our room had a balcony with an amazing view, and the room itself was spotless. Everything felt very clean and well cared for, always smelling fresh.
We stayed in a room with balcony and sea view which was well worth the extra cost. Staff were lovely and friendly and the breakfasts were exceptional. Very short walk (less than 5 minutes) to the beach. In the evenings we ate at several of the waterside fish restaurants - all within a few minutes walk from the hotel - and all serving delicious grilled fresh fish and an amazing array of appetisers. Would definitely recommend the hotel and Gumusluk if after a quietish beach holiday with plenty of good food.
Excellent location, wonderful staff. Owners are wonderful and very obliging. Breakfast is your typical Turkish breakfast.
For 800 Turkish lira you can have a bag of washing, washed and dried in 24 hours. Parking is available in the parking station next door for 500 Turkish lira a day.
Very quiet location overnight, and lots of places to eat just outside.
The rooms are small but clean, great for couples.
