Surprisingly pleasant
Pros:

Beds were very comfortable and room very clean. There’s also a rustic dock across the highway from which it is possible to have a. Ice swim in Head Lake.

It was wonderful.
Pros:

So close to the lake! You have a beautiful view of the lake. The rooms are gorgeous and it’s very quiet. So close to the Main Street Haliburton. Just walking distance from the stores and restaurants. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The rooms are also very clean and non-smoking or vaping which is a plus. Beds are super comfortable. Rooms are spacious. Washrooms are so clean and nicely renovated. Parking is free and easy to exit the parking lot. Wonderful experience and I am going again 100%.

Would recommend this venue to anybody.
Pros:

Easy location to access. The owner ?/ staff who booked us in was very friendly and extremely helpful with directions to a venue we were going to which was about one hour away.

Cons:

There was nothing missing from what we were expecting during our stay.

Only book this motel if there are no other local options. It should be priced at $100/nite max.
Pros:

Place was quiet due to lack of other guests on a long holiday weekend. Location was convenient. The room was clean but very dated. Front office clerk was helpful.

Cons:

The very high price (about $220/nite) was exorbitant for essentially a one-star hotel. The place did not live up to expectations as the office was full of junk as was the yard. The hair dryer did not work and the heating/air conditioner was quite noisy.

Basic motel in close proximity to town amenities
Pros:

Great location for snowmobile trip as a gas station is right next door. It was also nice to walk only five minutes to restaurants in town. That’s it

Cons:

We could only get one room key as they said the other was lost. Also, the hair dryer in the room didn’t work
