Beautiful rooms and garden. Didn’t care for the paintings in the dining room, but it was a beautiful hotel in a great location. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful

Cons:

Just those contemporary paintings in the dining room, but I’m a curator with rather avant garde tastes

The property is very nice and the rooms are beautiful.

Cons:

The location isn’t incredible as a tourist but that’s not why we chose it. The value for money isn’t great and if you’re sharing a room the shower in the space isn’t ideal

Beautiful palace, delicious breakfast and a cosy garden.
Pros:

This hotel is absolutely beautiful, the interior is thoughtfully designed down to the smallest details, creating a very stylish and welcoming atmosphere. The service was exceptional, with incredibly friendly and attentive staff throughout the stay. And please don’t miss the opportunity to visit the coffee manufactory, it was one of the highlights for me.
The room was very spacious and spotless. The only slightly unusual detail was the layout of the shower area, which felt a bit strange at first. Other than that, everything was excellent.
The location is also quite convenient: you can walk to the city center or get there by taxi for just a few euros. And finally, the breakfast was truly amazing: delicious, high-quality, and with a great variety of options. The garden is just amazing to drink a coffee, have a small talk or even to work.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Sehr gut geführtes Hotel
Pros:

Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, top sauber, überaus zuvorkommend was Service und Rezeption betrifft.
Die historische Straßenbahn hält direkt vor der Tür.
Ein sehr gut geführtes Hotel!

Cons:

Die Lage ist zwar einigermaßen zentral, mit dem Auto aber schwer zu erreichen. Hoteleingang in einer schmalen Gasse. Parkhausnutzung umständlich und teuer.
Trotzdem absolute Empfehlung!

Wir können den Palácio do Visconde auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen, es ist eine besondere Unterkunft.
Pros:

Das Personal war superfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war großartig und eine wunderbare Grundlage für den Start in den Tag. Der Palácio wirbt ja mit seinem Kaffee, und dieser war wirklich etwas Besonderes. Die Zimmer in diesem alten, ehrwürdigen Palais haben uns überrascht, sie waren modern und zweckmäßig umgebaut. Für 5 Übernachtungen konnten wir uns auch mit dem Kleiderständer arrangieren.

Cons:

Da es keine Schränke gibt, wäre eine Ablage für Pullover, Blusen, Unterwäsche usw. nützlich.
Das Einzige, was uns nicht gefallen hat: An einem Abend gab es eine Veranstaltung im Haus und das gesamte Personal war dort eingesetzt, so dass an diesem Abend die Bar unbesetzt war und nichts mehr getrunken werden konnte.
Und noch eine Kleinigkeit: Um zu unseren Zimmern zu gelangen, mussten wir einen kleinen Innenhof durchqueren, der an manchen Abenden stockdunkel war. Hier hätten wir uns eine Beleuchtung, zumindest an der Eingangstür zum zweiten Palais, gewünscht.

One I would recommend to others
Pros:

It was a boutique hotel and it lives up to that. The staff were so attentive and friendly and they couldn’t do enough for us

Cons:

Nothing really. Y only comment would be it was a good walk into the centre which we didn’t mind. The metro was 5 mins away if you don’t want to walk. The walk into the centre was mainly flat and tram 28 stops RIGHT outside the hotel

Sehr schönes Stadthotel mit tollem Personal!

Toller Frühstücksraum mit extrem freundlichem Personal, netter kleiner Garten, schönes Design

Cons:

In unserem Zimmer gab es außer einer Kleiderstange leider keinen Schrank oder ein Sideboard zum Verstauen der Kleider.
