Property looks a bit tired from the outside which doesn’t do it justice inside.
Such a lovely pub, excellent food, friendly staff, everything you need for a few days away. Couldn't be faulted. We'll definitely go again.

Large room with sunny aspect
The room faced the road. With the windows open there was a suprising amount of traffic noise.

Very rushed evening meal. Staff not very attentive.

Entry to shower cubicle was too small
Rooms big & nicely refurbished. Lovely new bathrooms with powerful shower. Very comfortable bed. Clean and tidy. Fridge in room that actually was cold a great bonus. No extra charge for dog which is great. Enclosed beer garden.
Like all hotels and inns hard to keep cool in a heatwave though tower fan provided. There are better fans that would cool than these though. Beer garden needs a bit of attention to match standards of pub.

Friday night was noisy with regular punters. Also the use of bad language by the same should be curtailed.
