A pleasant stay in Gargrave.
Pros:

A nice room with a good shower, a great selection of beers, wines and lagers. The breakfast was good, the staff friendly and the location is very handy for the village, the canal and walks along the pennine way.

Room (Linton) was a bit small but otherwise very comfortable. Excellent bathroom and shower.
Pros:

Staff were nice. Decor was very good - tasteful colour scheme and good furnishings. Good pint of Barnsley Bitter in the bar. Comfortable rooms.

Cons:

Not much choice for breakfast if you didn't want cooked breakfast. The breakfast tea didn't taste good so the next day we asked for hot chocolate, which was kindly served to us and that was fine.

It’s was noisy as my bedroom was facing the road- quiet between 2-5am.

Gargrave hat mit gut gefallen. Vom Hotel aus waren fußläufig einige schöne Wanderungen möglich. Frühstück war sehr gut.

Cons:

Viele Optionen auf der Speisekarten standen nicht mehr zur Auswahl, insbesondere die vegetarischen.

Clean tidy well proportioned room. Shower was powerful.

Cons:

Breakfast was haphazard. Only 1 member of staff to both cook and serve, so it wasn’t quick. Little choice of food if you didn’t like or want a full breakfast.
It’s on the main road so there’s a lot of traffic noise
