Cons:

Rooms need some love. Carpet was coming away from walls...I no not a lot can be done with view from window but it could be made a bit better with some local artist. We live in the dales the food could be local sourced and we need as a city to show case this and id have loved to have been able to purchase local produce like jams honey ect. Beautiful looking building but needs some extra love in the rooms. I was looking forward to breakfast some nice irish soda bread with eggs but both morning I asked it wasnt available so no choice but the buffet fry up which I hate as barly warm. I would stay again as it was handy for buses and the gardens are beautiful . Rooms defo need a upgrade

If I could be guaranteed a room away from the noise then I would possibly consider a return visit.
Pros:

Very friendly staff

Cons:

My room was changed after booking and I was not informed that there would be a wedding reception during my stay. My room was mixed amongst the wedding guests and was very noisy - paper thin walls, adjacent to the disco area and next to the corridor door where people went past up to 3 am. I have evidence of the noise, available upon request - through the walls, by the window....and a grim view from the window (see photo)

Not a great experience
Pros:

The outside of the building and staff were nice

Cons:

Due to there being a wedding you couldn't access the lounge bar or restaurant... you could order room service but it was a very reduced not very good menu... there was also a wedding guest who was vomiting their guts out right outside my room so it was not a pleasant experience along with the wedding guests being right outside my room and being quite noisy
