Amazing location, 1 block from the beach! Tipical South Beach atmosphere, the rooms are spacious, very clean and so, so quiet! The rooftop lounge and pool is a must visit!

Perfectly located to nearby restaurants/ bars and couple mins walk to beach. Chilled and welcoming atmosphere. Spacious rooms and really helpful and cheery staff.
The hotel has some quiet rooms at the back away from the bustle of Collins Avenue and the traffic but also just around the corner which is a positive. Housekeeping were very good and rooms very clean. Front desk staff helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Pool area on rooftop is a long way from some rooms and in need of an update, torn cushions and general poor appearance. Beach beds for the hotel are a long walk away, 3 blocks North along Collins Avenue at 21st. More of a business type hotel for the nearby convention centre rather than a holiday type place.

Gone downhill from when we stayed here a couple of years ago. Good location and happy hour for wine is great and the rooftop is nice. But…we’re staying in the old tower this time and it’s really not very nice. The bathroom door doesn’t shut in our room, it’s a single sink, water pressure is not great at all, smaller room, and to top it off a hotel staff member barged into our room without knocking whilst we were in there at 11am, he screamed and then shut the door. No apology or anything. I would now not recommend this hotel sadly.

The Uma House succeeds being a charming hotel with comfortable, clean rooms. They have an Art Deco hip vibe which is very cool to see. The property is well maintained, I saw the maintenance team doing work every day. Relative to other hotels nearby it is very reasonably priced. The location is excellent. It’s right where you want to be near Collins Ave while being a short walk to Ocean Ave. The hotel staff is professional and handled any requests efficiently. Priscila and Daphne made the check-in easy and went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of. Juni was also very accommodating and professional. Thanks to all the staff, everyone I encountered made me feel welcome. I will stay at Uma again and will recommend it to anyone traveling to South Beach.
When we arrived we were given a room that was very different from the pics on Expedia. Asked Daphne to make a room change, she said she would try and to check with her at 4pm…she left for day…so spoke to Priscilla who made an immediate change and was exceptionally kind and accommodated the change so we could enjoy our stay. We slept beautifully and were so comfortable the entire stay, we are grateful for Priscilla. Our bell hop was so pleasant and kind. Valentina helped us with our bike rental and we enjoyed our stay so much. If we did not have a room change and kept the room Daphne’s gave us we would have had a horrible experience.
