Please be aware that there are 17 steps leading from reception to the rooms. The staircase is wide with a wide banister.

Being upgraded to one of the new rooms as the rooms in the old part of the building are most unpleasant including a load of builders rubbish outside the window. Nice staff (a lady) at breakfast, they were particularly, really lovely. Nice breakfast too, good package and value overall.
Being placed in a horrid room in old building, the outside during refurbishment is not pleasant either. I think the hotel shld tell you in advance you are in an old room or a new room as I never would have stayed if the nice man on reception had not finally upgraded me on the day. TVs did not work properly either despite them trying to work them.
Great location and very neat, clean and adequate
Inter leading doors and bedroom doors not soundproof and light proof. Rooms therefore was not quiet and every time someone came into the passages doors slamming would wake you up especially if your room is right next to it. Monoxide alarm was situated right in front of the bed so the great big blue circular light on it shines right into your face the whole night

I was in a room due to be refurbed, I did not mind but these rooms are very much in need of a refurb

The staff were friendly and approachable. The room was clean - newly refurbished. The bed was very comfortable - I really needed the rest. The breakfast was delicious.
The windows needed cleaning. The room seemed very basic, I would expect a few more frills and spills for the price and to add a touch of luxury.

This is a fantastic place. The location was perfect, I swam in the sea and walked on the beach every day. Great spots to eat nearby including the legendary Di Meo's. They are going through renovations at the moment but inside it is clean and tidy, the breakfast is excellent and the staff exceptional.
Wish there was a lift, hoping this is part of the renovation as there are a lot of stairs and it was difficult to navigate with my suitcase - although staff did help.
