Please be aware that there are 17 steps leading from reception to the rooms. The staircase is wide with a wide banister.

Fab location at the seafront. Staff all very friendly and welcoming. Rooms were very clean. Breakfast was good (particularly the sausages!).
Only that the renovation work was quite noisy.
The rooms we were allocated were not anything like what was advertised.

The bed was hard may as well tried sleeping on the floor only to be told at reception "yeah the beds are hard, getting new ones"...If that was the case of knowing why put someone in there...Fortunately I paid in advance otherwise I would of paid half the price because I only got breakfast the bed wasn't worth paying for
The room was exceptional, staff where polite and helpful, breakfast was delicious. No problems at all.
The stairs but I am 70years old so all stairs are awful.

Staff always pleasant and willing to help. I've stayed here many times over the years and it has become a home from home.
Only problem this time, it was a bit noisy during the day due to the refurbishment going on, but even that was kept to a minimum.
Looking forward to my next visit when hopefully refurbishment is completed and café opened on site.
Having to climb the stairs to the room. But staff always there to assist and apparently lift being fitted as part of the refurbishment 🙂
Although it was currently being refurbished, there was little or no disruption & the staff were excellent, location was ideal for beach, promenade walks & fantastic sea views

Rooms were hot due to the weather also hotel getting building work done to it but wasn’t a problem
Single room quite spacious.Just lacking a chair of some kind.Buffet breakfast excellent with plenty of choice.Pleasant service all round.Will definitely return when next needing my quota of sea air tonic.

Going through some renovation, but were told prior.
Breakfast was great , fab choice and nice and fresh. Location on the sea front.
Hotel was a building site including front and entrance. Stayed in rooms which hadnt been renovated at the rear. Beds were not comfy . Our daughter had to ask for a change of bedding as the one on the bedsheet had holes. Would not stay again and would not recommend. My opinion close till full refurb has been complete. Hazard zone and very dangerous.

Location was good. Nice to be on sea front and were lucky enough to be moved to a room at front of hotel. If we hadn’t I do think we’d have queried are stay altogether.
Easy walking distance to town and sea front.
Staff were lovely as was the breakfast.
Understand hotel is under a lot of refurbishment work. It looks as though they’ve been doing this for a while. I thought the outside looked to be honest terrible. It could do with a good stiff broom and good sweep.
Price we paid didn’t reflect the state of the property.
However we were grateful to be moved to the room we had and were happy enough to go along with it.
