We stayed 4 nights in the hard rock hotel, spent great time, good location, clean and friendly rooms. The staff was very helpful, nothing to complain about. Would recommend to the visitors who want to be close to heart of the city but with certain comfort.

Amazing Hotel, very clean and the main entrance is spectacular - the staff was very kind providing us for free an adaptor and wishing us a "happy Monday " every time we walked by. Rooms were cleaned every day

Fantastic hotel in a great location near Times Square. Staff were super friendly and helpful. We booked a studio room which was the perfect size for three people. I have to give it a low score as we stayed in February and it’s now 9 weeks later and still haven’t had the deposit returned! Contacted the manager after 30 days but no response. It’s a pity as it’s a great hotel.
Safe and clean streets
I enjoyed our stay but am having problems on my return home. We were asked to make a whopping $100 a night security deposit which on check in I agreed to without any issue. I checked out 3 WEEKS ago and have not had this deposit returned despite being told it would be after a few days. I have contracted the hotel by email, and also via website, several times and I tried to call but the number is out of service. Absolutely no response.
Customer service is non-existent which is such a dampener after we had such a good stay. I’m actually forced to make this review in the hopes that anyone at all contacts me. This is a huge issue which has to be resolved, people cannot afford for hundreds of dollars to be kept from them for months at a time. Shameful policies on behalf of hard rock and I expected better. There is also a huge report fee of $40 a night to be aware of before booking too.
I can see that I’m not the only person who has had these issues.
Made a trip and stayed at the Hard Rock David P was so helpful and stood out with his exceptional service which made the trip easier with all his help. Room was clean and our stay was up to standards thank you Hard Rock and your exceptional staff.
The hotel itself is what you'd expect from one of the 'Hard Rocks' and doesn't disappoint. The entrance, restaurant and bar are all impressive in their own ways. The staff are also incredibly helpful and friendly.
Each room contains an Amazon Alexa. I had forgotten an adapter and I asked Alexa where I could purchase one. The response came back that someone from the team would bring me one! Within 5 minutes there was a knock on the door with a complimentary delivery.
Seeing as the hotel is 5 stars, though, I did have a few 'issues.'
First of all, I'm British, and I've never once stayed in a hotel anywhere in the world where there were no tea making facilities in the room. I was disappointed to see that we could only make a maximum of two coffees each morning. I don't drink coffee and this was a real downer for me, especially as I was awake so early with jet lag! I didn't expect that my husband would have to go to the convenience store next door to buy me a tea and bring it back to the hotel. Another first was that there were no china mugs. We were provided with cardboard cups for the coffee. This was absolutely not what I expected for a high end hotel (or any kind of half decent hotel to be honest).
The air con was also very noisy and we struggled to sleep at night because of it. Another 'sleep related' issue is that the blind didn't go all the way to the floor, so light poured in to the room. It also looked pretty rubbish that someone couldn't find a blind to correctly fit the window.
All in all, an enjoyable stay, and I'd recommend for sure, but there are just a few things that could do with being ironed out.
