The hotel has fantastic interior design. We loved all the spaces. The outdoor pool is great and most of the staff are kind and helpful. Breakfast is great. Parking in abundance. There is a boat (included in the price once) that takes you to Porto and we loved that. We also walked to Porto via the river path which took us about 40 minutes and was nice.
It’s located next to the river, but also next to the highway. It’s not in the best part of Porto. To get anywhere you’ll have to take a taxi or a car. And the streets are very narrow. The service was inconsistent. Some days it was excellent, with cleaning of the room in the morning and an evening check-in (your slippers next to the bed!). Other days there was no cleaning until you asked at 4 pm, and nothing happened at night. WiFi worked well at the start, and then stopped working properly after a few days. The restaurant practically refused to accommodate an allergy request, said “you will have to eat this one dish” and then delivered it without any seasoning or even olive oil. The same allergy is dealt with just fine everywhere else in Porto so it was unexpected for a hotel at this level. The spa was not included and charged at an additional 10 euros per person per day, again strange for the type of room prices we’re looking at.

כל יום ניקו לנו את החדרים, אפשר להגיד עברו על החדרים, לפעמים הוסיפו עוגיות.
הצוות מדהים, שירות מעולה.
ארוחת הבוקר מדהימה, מגוונת, מוגשת בצורה אסטטית, הצוות מגיש תפריט עם מנות שף מיוחדות, חוויה.
חצר המלון מטופחת עם צמחייה מעניינת.
חנייה בשפע.
בריכה יפה ממש.
מאוד רחוק מהעיר ואין למלון שירות הסעות.
יש אפשרות ללכת ברגל חצי שעה לפחות.
או לקחת מונית.
מייקר מאוד את מחיר השהייה.
אירוח ל - 7 לילות מאוד יקר.
מלון מפנק ויוקרתי. חדרים מרווחים ונקיים. שירות נהדר. ארוחת הבוקר מגוונת וטעימה וארוחת הערב ברמה גבוהה מאוד. נוף עוצר נשימה.
אם לחפש משהו מתחת לפנס, היתה אי הבנה בקבלה כשהגענו מוקדם והציעו לנו להכנס לארוחת הבוקר אבל בצ׳ק אאוט דרשו תשלום. העלות היתה סבירה ביותר ולכן זה בטל בשישים לעומת החוויה הנפלאה.
Als je van echt rust houdt ,is dit hotel een topper
Prachtig domein met veel mogelijkheden om te zitten of te liggen.
Kamer met balkon, helemaal top.
Heerlijke bedden. Grote badkamer met inloopdouche .
Personeel is vriendelijk.
Ontbijt is oké. Mogelijkheid om van de kaart te kiezen.Dames hier super vriendelijk.
Brasserie oké ,maar simpele kaart.
Venha restaurant geen gebruik van gemaakt.
Taxi van hotel naar de stad kost ongeveer € 12.00
Mogelijkheid om met bootje van het hotel naar de stad te varen(is gratis heen), dit is heerlijk om te doen,en heb je gelijk een rondje van ongeveer 20 minuten over de Douro rivier.
Wel een dag van te voren boeken.

Slight road noise in su h an otherwise calm environment
Queremos destacar el personal del hotel, tanto la atención en desayuno como en el almuerzo y piscina. El personal del spa, Joana y Ricardo, han sido muy profesionales y el tratamiento recibido ha sido excepcional.
Tuvimos un problema en la habitación a las 23h porque el sistema de cierre eléctrico de cortinas no funcionaba. Al cabo de 25minutos de intentar repararlo por personal del hotel dentro de la habitación, se decidió cambiarnos de habitación . Nos cedieron otra para poder dormir pero la temperatura estaba muy baja y no conseguimos que subiera en toda la noche.
Es la tercera vez que visitamos este hotel y nunca antes había ocurrido algo así. Creo que la solución de cambiarnos a las 23:50h no ha sido buena dado que esa habitación no estaba preparada para alojarnos. Una pena.
