Pros:

Localización al lado de la Plaza Monasteraki muy frecuentada y con la salida del metro, rodeada de hoteles y muchas calles enteras de restaurantes, cafeterías y terrazas.
Edificio antiguo, poca insonorización, habitaciones arregladas con los aseos limpios y toallas que intentan ser blancas y desgastadas por el uso. Pequeña nevera debajo de un escritorio con una botella de agua y un vino de cortesía.
La entrada al hotel está en medio de locales de alimentación. No tiene vestíbulo solo una habitación para el check in, al lado hay dos ascensores para subir a las habitaciones y a locales públicos de comida de las dos últimas plantas.

Cons:

“FOTOS PUBLICITARIAS ENGAÑOSAS” (Pone “vistas a la Acrópolis” y el hotel me confirma que es a la montaña pero no necesariamente al Partenón) adjunto las verdaderas imágenes desde la planta 3, las otras dos plantas varían un poco porque están hechas con un macro y también desde arriba.
Ascensores antiguos, pequeños y muy sucios con gran afluencia de gente externa, cajas de comida, bebida y basura que utilizan para las dos plantas superiores hace no sean suficientes.
Las escaleras tienen un código de salida en cada planta…como para tener una urgencia, aunque a veces están abiertas completamente.

It’s a nice hotel with clean rooms for a short stay in Athens.
Pros:

The room itself was clean and a nice size for 3 people. The staff was very helpful with suggestions and making transfer arrangements to the port for us! It’s close to Acropolis and other ancient sites.

Cons:

It’s hard to tell where the hotel was because of the location of the entryway. It gets quite crowded being so close to Monastiraki square also.

Becsapva éreztük magunkat, mást ígértek, mint amit érkezéskor kaptunk

Amikor megérkeztünk a hotelhez, sajnos nem azt a szobát kaptuk, amelyet előzetesen egyeztettünk és lefoglaltunk.

Már a foglalás előtt külön e-mailben felvettem a kapcsolatot a hotellel, mert számomra kifejezetten fontos volt, hogy olyan szobát kapjunk, ahonnan zavartalan kilátás nyílik az Akropoliszra, és azt semmilyen épület nem takarja el. Az e-mailhez mellékeltem azt a képet is, amelyet a Booking.com oldalon találtam a szobáról. A hotel egyértelműen azt válaszolta, hogy a kért szoba szabad, és azt javasolták, hogy foglaljam le az Akropoliszra néző junior lakosztályt. Ez az 5. emeleten található, ahonnan a kilátást semmilyen épület nem takarja.

A foglalás elkészítése után ismét e-mailben jeleztem a hotelnek, hogy lefoglaltam a szobát. Erre azt a választ kaptam, hogy köszönik a foglalást, várnak minket, és biztosítják számunkra a megbeszélt szobát.

Amikor megérkeztünk, és megkaptuk a kulcsot, már gyanús volt, hogy valami nincs rendben, ugyanis a szobánk a 3. emeleten volt. Amikor beléptünk, azt tapasztaltuk, hogy a kilátás gyakorlatilag a szemközti épület falára néz, tehát egyáltalán nem felelt meg annak, amit előzetesen a hotellel egyeztettünk.

Ezután lementem a recepcióra, hogy jelezzem a problémát. A recepciós azonban rendkívül udvariatlan, arrogáns és lekezelő volt. Azt közölte, hogy az összes 5. emeleti szoba foglalt.

Több mint egy órán keresztül próbáltuk tisztázni a helyzetet. Álláspontom szerint teljesen jogosan kértem számon a hotelen a megbeszélteket, hiszen nem egyszerűen egy bizonyos kilátású szobát reméltem, hanem még a foglalás előtt kifejezetten egyeztettem velük erről, képet is küldtem a kívánt szobáról, és a hotel írásban megerősítette, hogy a szoba szabad, foglaljam le nyugodtan, és biztosítani fogják számunkra.

Ha a hotel előre közölte volna, hogy ezt a szobát nem tudják biztosítani, vagy az már foglalt lett volna, természetesen nem foglaltam volna náluk. Egyszerűen választottam volna egy másik hotelt.

It was a nice location.
Pros:

Location, room was very nice. Nice big bathroom, but smelled like sewer . Staff were friendly.

Cons:

There was no non slip mat in the shower. Tiles get slippery when they’re wet. There was no Kleenex tissue and also need to put a small garbage bucket in the room. Bathroom smells like sewer.
Breakfast needs an upgrade. Orange juice was not freshly squeezed. It was terrible. No freddo cappuccino or espresso being made. The fruit was not fresh as well. Not much of anything.. did not enjoy breakfast.

Do your research before you stay here. The location is central but grungy and not worh it.
Pros:

The location is central in terms of proximity to the central core of Athens. But it is very loud, the lobby is non existent. There are 2 very small elevators, you share them with the bar on the 6th/ 7th floor. So you are constantly waiting to get on.
Hallways etc are old. They have these floor machines that they plug in everywhere that puke out this perfume scent. Not sure why this is necessary if the hotel is actually clean. No key cards, you use a physical key. Rooms are decent. For that price you can stay at hotel literally one block off the beaten path that is quieter and nicer.

Cons:

Hotel lobby.
Elevators.
Also to mention. People going up to the bar restaurant can get off the elevator on to your floor and break right into your room. Doors are locked with a standard key lock. No swipe fob cards or anything.

A localização é ótima, apenas isso !

Este hotel está longe de ser um 4 estrelas como consta no Booking!?
O elevador é super sujo, na entrada do ambiente do café da manhã tem cadeiras empilhadas, material acumulado, um desleixo. A energia acabou numa noite apenas no nosso quarto, tivemos que dormir sem ar-condicionado, num calor absurdo , com a janela aberta , onde se ouvia o barulho da rua até altas horas. Ninguém capacitado foi chamado para resolver o problema !

Great location and hotel for a short stay in Athens.
Pros:

The property was really nice and in a really good location. The room was very clean and comfortable

Cons:

We didn’t like that the elevator is shared with the roof top so at night there is a line to enter.
