Pros:

Staff very friendly, room 9 was clean, the bedsheets towels clean. Full English breakfast was well cooked and good value for money.

Cons:

The communal shower did not drain well, a noisy neighbour in the morning on the phone and late evening. Place needs a make over especially outside kerb appeal. Looks run down. Needs proper management. Wake up management the place is a goold mine, especially in terms of location. just needs more input and a bit of investment. Got the feeling onsite staff are a bit under valued and it's them keeping the place ticking over.

Good but could be better.
Pros:

Great location. We were lucky had an amazing sea view. Breakfast was really tasty. Staff were friendly.

Cons:

The room needed some tlc. Holes in the carpet, wallpaper coming off wall. It would not cost a lot to make these improvements. When it said shared bathroom. Didn’t realise it was for 5 rooms. Thankful for sink in room

very dated for the price room was in shocking condition for the price breakfast was okay but advertised time was incorrect avoid at all costs you will regret it. bed was as stiff as a rock honistly just awful for the price.

Für die Bedienung der Dusche (aus den 60ern) waren wir offenbar zu dumm…
Im Bad gab es kein Licht - absichtlich?
Auf das Frühstück haben wir verzichtet weil wir schnell weg wollten…

Little gem of a hotel
Pros:

This hotel has a fantastic location ! The rooms are dated but clean, comfy beds with crisp white sheets. A fantastic fan which we really needed in this hot weather. It was a shared bathroom / toilet room but it was kept immaculate. The staff are so genuinely lovely who run the hotel , the chef cooked us an amazing breakfast. Coffee, tea, cereals , fruit available ! The cleaners were very polite met by two on our way back to room this morning who both said ‘ good morning ‘ we would not hesitate to stay here again. We are definitely returning guests. We were in room 9.! Had a very comfortable night. Thank you so much.
We think this hotel could bring in more money if it was re-decorated. It’s a little gem. Yes it’s old but still holds its character. Great value for money

Perfect for me for 2 nights
Pros:

I decided to rebook after hearing the hotel had made some efforts to improve the experience. I was surprised and relieved that my room was very clean and felt comfortable. I was checked in by a local gentleman who was very friendly and made me feel welcome.

Cons:

No soap in the room.

Good value. Great position. Would have no hesitation in staying here again.
Pros:

Staff. Great room with sea views (Room 15). Proximity to town, restaurants, pubs, castle, etc Price.
Breakfasts.

Cons:

Hotel undergoing a makeover. No problem for us but it is still a work in progress so some rooms may still be in need of same.
All the flowers shown in the photos out front have disappeared.

Crap
Pros:

Not alot only good thing was they let us keep our luggage there after checkout plus it's across the road from the pier and the stone beach

Cons:

Would only accept cash knowing it said i could pay by card no staff when needed (no staff to be seen) fire alarm kept going off all hours
Wifi kept cutting off
TV kept losing single sleeping on the bed felt like sleeping on rocks
Breakfast was too greasy no continental breakfast as advertised in the menu and that was the same on my last visit and stay at this hotel
Got a bar but never opened got a restaurant but never opened (lack of staff most probably)
Staris are too steep leading up to the rooms shower screen fell apart

If I could I would ask for a Refund as it wasn't worth the stay and the money hopefully the waterfront hotel will look to improve in the near future
Keep getting told the hotel is being done up but was told the same thing last year

Weekend reunion.
Pros:
