Das Personal ist super nett und freundlich und kompetent!
Dies allein wäre schon ein Grund Fig Lobby immer wieder als erste Wahl in BKK zu nehmen.
Und da ist dann noch die schöne Zimmereinrichtung!

(könnte man die Frage stellen: Wie viele Hotelzimmer habe ich gesehen und bewohnt?
In etwa 40 verschiedene - in Bangkok)!!!!
Ich mag das Hotel sehr gerne und komme ganz bestimmt wieder!
Auf der Dachterrasse findet jetzt immer ein " Outdoor Fitness Workout" statt.
Das passt irgendwie nicht zum Hotelbetrieb, obwohl es grundsätzlich eine nette Sache ist.
Und noch eines: Der Aufzug ist durch diese "OFW" ständig besetzt.
Ich gehe gerne über die Stufen, aber mit dem ganzen Gepäck...!
Und die "Fitness-Leute" benutzen den Aufzug so gerne, obwohl sie doch zum
Fitness gehen (fahren ;-) ) :-) ;-) ;-) .

The pool is at a different hotel and that hotel didn't provide towels or cushions on their wooden loungers.

The staff was helpful. We complained about poor sleep and water drainage issues and were offered to move to a different room. However, it raises a question of why even checking in guests in a problematic room in the first place? It is not like the hotel management is unaware of those issues. We were only staying for half a night more so opted out to skip on the hassle of moving rooms.
Fun little souvinier shop in the lobby.
The hotel is located right on the road, the walls are paper-thin, traffic sounds get so loud it feels like you are sleeping outside. The quality of sleep was very poor.
The bathroom experience was also awful. The shower area was getting flooded, and the water would stay there permanently! If you took the shower in the evening and wanted to refresh the next morning, you literally had to step into a cold puddle to wash yourself.
I knew that the pool is outside in a different building, but it was way too far to make its use convinient. The roof faciluties were purely commercial: tiny pool for a fee that was absolutely packed with people, and a bar/restaurant. I just stayed in a different hotel in Bangkok which had a proper roof pool free for hotel guests, with showers, free snacks/water, little gym, sunbeds, tables, and a city view. A very different experience, and for a better price too.
Breakfast was the poorest on my 3-weeks trip. Small variety. Even the plate of scrambled eggs was sad-looking, with zero garnish.
Despite its quirky decor, the hotel felt cold (light, color palette) and not cozy or inviting.
The hotel's location right across from the slums, with balconies overlooking people's lives was morally dubious and very unethical in my view.
