La tranquilidad que el lugar y el staff transmite. El hotel está ubicado muy en centro. Hay bastante ruido bastante gente, pero orchid house te ofrece un lugar seguro y calmado.
Todo estuvo genial, aveces en la noche hay un poco de ruido por los bares. Pero el hotel está intentado todo lo posible para solucionarlo.
Wonderful staff who made us feel like home. Thank you Fabiola, Carlo, and Juan. The place is just gorgeous. I hope to come back someday.

El lugar es simplemente hermoso, digno de un lugar tan especial y fantástico como San Miguel de Allende. El patio, el comedor, las habitaciones, todos los detalles son simplemente maravillosos . Se ve que lo pensaron e hicieron todo con mucho cuidado, cariño y calidad. Ademas y super importante, tiene unas de las mejores ubicaciones, simplemente a cuadra y media del parque y la iglesia principal y toda las tiendas y la vida del centro, esta cerca de todo, bancos, restaurantes, bares, tiendas, etc, etc.. Si va a San Miguel de Allende y no se aloja en Casa Orquídeas su visita no estará completa

Disco music from next door. I did not sleep well for 2 nights because of the vibration in my body. Even with ear plugs AND noise machine on. I wont stay there again, even though staff was very nice. Breakfast should provide bigger portions.

El desayuno no es el mas completo ni le mejor
This property is absolutely stunning! San Miguel is already such a special place but this was the cherry on top! It is so beautiful and peaceful, with a beautiful garden! It definitely feels very old world in the most beautiful way. Central to everything in the city, and I cannot stop praising the attentive staff, some of the kindest people! Definitely plan on staying here longer!
I wanted to take the time and leave an honest review as I recently stayed here. I had flown in from Cancun, stayed at a 5 star resort and booked the Orchid House as I wanted a 5 star hotel. I don’t know what I missed, but this is an average hotel. This hotel has a beautiful environment and it’s definitely a “boutique hotel” but other than the free breakfast, it has no other amenities.
I think major improvements can include a pool, gym, spa, etc. Staff greet you but are very absent. During our entire 3 days there, we never saw staff, except twice. While it’s nice having the “whole place to myself” feel, it’s not an Airbnb, but a hotel, which can be a disadvantage. We checked out at 7am and provided the kitchen staff our key as there was no receptionist.
The home is beautiful and is located in an amazing area, but I would definitely consider other options if you really want to be fully catered to.
Beautiful hotel with friendly staff right in the middle of the historical center. We were there during the week, so there was no noise from the club next door. Even though it was not mentioned in the listing, there was air conditioning in our room.
If the doors are kept open, the mosquitos get in.
