Chemicals used for cleaning. Long term residues and buildup
Breakfast was nice, but we would have liked a slightly wider selection of sweet pastries. The food in the restaurant was good, and the staff was very friendly. It was nice to have a small kitchen in the room to boil water and have a snack. Overall, it is a nice place.
There were quite a few minor issues that slightly spoiled the overall impression of what is otherwise a decent place. The refrigerator was quite noisy, and whenever it switched on, it made cracking and rattling sounds (I switched it off completely). In our room, we could clearly hear water flowing through the sewage pipes. The TV was not working. The power outlet and bedside lamp next to the bed were also not functioning.
Walking distance to Rosebank Mall and the Gautrain. Room had all I needed and was clean.
Stairwell could do with a clean but this was labelled “staff only”.

I traveled with my partner and my son which was 10 months, was very surprised to come into the room and in 10 minutes the cot that I asked for came through (which I ended up forgetting about) so that was really nice that the staff thought about things that weren’t in my mind in that moment as of yet. A big shout out to the staff they’re were all incredible greeting us all the time and being friendly with our baby boy. A special thank you to Rea, she was serving us lunch on our last day and she took our son on a little adventure while we can eat our food and relax for 10 minutes. We were happy to trust our baby boy with the staff and keeping him entertained with all the beautiful things in the hotel.
The walls were quite thin so we felt bad if our son was making too much noise and didn’t want to disturb our neighbours
Loction is perfect
Reception person was too slow and he sold our room to someone else where we paid for our room in advance but still he give to someone else.
Not only that when we ask for early check-in they said that you will be given your room after 3pm then at 5pm we when back and our room was sold to someone.
Heat system was damaged and rooms weee freezing cold

This is not hotel but more of a lodge with a tuck shop.
They should state up front that they are a strictly Halal establishment and therefore bacon, pork or having wine with you meals is not allowed. The small rooms are like really small, like a hostel room with no proper curtains to block the light out.
