Very expensive (158 euros per night) for a 6 square meters (!!) noisy room, toilets outside the room (!) 4 th floor under the roof, without lift.
No breakfast available on site
Not possible to work in the room (6 sq meters !). No open space either in the reception
I know that Amsterdam is an expensive city. I made a reservation for this price so was ok to pay. But never paid such a price for this kind of room. Even in NYC !
Convenient to the train station and in the heart of the central city. Plenty to do in the area.
Thin walls. It was difficult to sleep with the other guests on the floor ignoring any common sense about noise control. They were young and plentiful.

This place is in the perfect location. I would have easily rated 5 stars, until I met the boss possible owner. Older gentlemen that works late. I was with my son visiting my daughter who is in school. HE BASICALLY BANNED HER FROM COMING IN! Very suspicious character and angry when I questioned his suspicion. He said “if I see her on the cameras he would throw us out!” Im sure he sees kids sneaking in girls everyday, BUT THIS WAS MY CHILD! He didn’t ask for proof, nothing! Since it was day 2 in a weeks stay I just obliged. The 2 young employee were great, they met my kids and apologized for his behavior. But it ruined my stay, because my daughter could not visit me. Unbelievable.
1st -The location is great. No problems there. Perfect for a back packer. 2nd -We knew going in that the stairs were pretty much vertical. That's fine, old buildings. Europe. 3rd -The room was SO SMALL. Awkward. We booked a double bed with a private bathroom. The bathroom was even smaller. You could lay your head on the sink from the toilet. Kind of like an RV. To wash your face, you had to have your body pushing open the door while it hit the bed. Comical. Not really a great place for 2 adults. The bed wasn't very comfy. The window view is a concrete wall with a bit of light coming in. Staff was ok. No amenities. Coffee maker would not fit in this place. Great bakery's in the area! Perfect starting point. Close to everything & the main train station.
Really amazing location and lovely staff!
The hotel is located right in the middle of the tourist district, so you can't beat the location. The staff was helpful and friendly. But that's about all there is to recommend. Our room was little more than a box, and the bathroom was just TINY. The shower had no door/curtain, so you couldn't shower without getting the whole area sopping wet. Absolutely not worth it for the price we paid.
