Een stijlvol, comfortabel en culinair verblijf
Pros:

Hotel Porta Cité heeft een stijlvolle, elegante uitstraling met een mix van moderne en warme elementen. De kamers zijn ruim, hebben een comfortabele zithoek, gratis wifi, goede bedden en een flatscreen-tv.
De aanwezigheid van een Italiaanse restaurant‑bar is een grote troef: het ontbijt (buffet) is top en de sfeer is verfijnd en gezellig.
Ook de locatie is ideaal: vlak bij Maasmechelen Village, het Cultureel Centrum, en met gratis parking voor de deur.

Cons:

Het hotel ligt aan een rotonde, wat voor lichte slapers mogelijk wat verkeersgeluid kan geven (afhankelijk van de kamer). Wij hadden hier geen last van.
Het ontbijt is top maar omdat buitenstaanders die niet in het hotel verblijven ook kunnen ontbijten, kan het druk zijn. Soms kregen we het gevoel dat er geen plaatsje zou zijn voor ons, terwijl we wel hotelgasten waren die ontbijt hadden gereserveerd.
