Ubicacion y Diseno del hotel
Konumu çok iyi
Sanırım 2 yada 3 binayı içten birleştirmişler, labirent gibi ve içi nem kokuyordu
Such a chic hotel with stylish quirky bits that make you smile
There is nothing I didn't like
The Virgin Hotel is exceptional, tucked away it appears unassuming, until you step in side and take in the decor and whole ethos of the hotel. The staff were fabulous, very polite and friendly, they made us feel welcome and were happy to assist. We stayed in a twin chamber, it looked exactly as the photos did, and the quality of the room, furnishings - furniture etc. were great, and clearly of a good standard. The room wasn’t particularly large, however the layout worked well. The location of the hotel is excellent and many of the landmarks and attractions that one wishes to visit in Edinburgh city centre, are within very easy walking distance. We had dinner in the Commons club, which was excellent, and served by a lovely young man. I paid for breakfast however we didn’t make it down to breakfast once! But my understanding is, it is of a good quality with plenty of choice.
The property is a high end hotel, and our 4 night stay cost us £2,300+ for a twin chamber room, whilst the hotel is beautiful with stunning and quirky decor, the price of the twin chamber is expensive. We would have loved to have stayed in a suite however these are exceptionally expensive, and you have to weigh up how much time you will be spending in your room - suite, compared to visiting Edinburghs and its many many attractions.
Great location. Concierge staff was friendly and helpful. Comfortable beds with nice room amenities.
Reception could be friendlier.
It was good.
On my last day of checking out, I called the hotel and they were kind enough to give me 30 more minutes to checkout due to me being stuck in traffic, that being said, I asked the lady on the phone if they can call a cab to pick me up at 12:30, she responded “are you upstairs” when I responded with no I am clearly in a car coming now but can I get a cab, she repeated the question sarcastically and responded with so much sarcasm “oh then when you’re back, you can do that” as if she did not want to and her tone was disrespectful and she kept cutting me mid-sentence. That ruined my stay, even though the hotel was amazing and I everything was great. Just this one disrespectful staff ruined it for me.
Localização, staff, design, restaurantes
Pouca água no chuveiro e nos colocaram em um primeiro quarto com vista para um monte de lixo.
Locatie en schone frisse kamers!
Alles was goed en leuk!
A real five star ⭐ Hotel !!!
Nothing
Location was perfect but unfortunately that's about the only 5 star thing about this hotel. The rooftop and the lounge downstairs was nice too.
The room was the tiniest! And it was supposed to be the castle view room but from our tiny window, we could just see a huge staircase. Any view was almost completely blocked but yes you could see the top of the castle. There wasn't even tissues in the room and they'd leave just 1 water bottle for 2 people. I really think it was overpriced for what it was but I needed a central location and you don't have that many 5 stars avaliable.
It was all great. My wife’s knee was sore so we ordered ice to the room. A few times we had to call again. We got coffee after asking three times at breakfast. Otherwise perfect.
Everything was amazing
