The arts theme. Spacious room with apartment like facilities and a small balcony.

The rooms at this property were lovely. I was in a balcony room and enjoyed the light in the opportunity to open the door and get some fresh air. I’m a fan of flooring at this point in hotel room so that was definitely a major plus for me. I enjoyed the colors and the decor. I especially liked having a kitchenette and a small table to eat meals at my room was also extremely clean.
The location is probably one of the only things that presented an issue, but there is public transportation nearby so I was able to navigate it. Just a tiny thing was the glass brick wall. I enjoyed it because it allowed more light into the space which was amazing my only thing about it was that in the morning it just was super bright.
The unique design
The location is amazing. Just two blocks from the subway. The room was very spaceous and clean. The hotel was VERY friendly to our dog that came along as part of our relocation to NYC. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly, polite and helpful.
The room has a kitchenette but when we arrived there were no basic items that one needs on their first day after a long flight: small detergent, sponge, paper towel and such. We were forced to rush to alocal supermarket to obtain them.
Great value for a stay close to Manhattan! Our room was very spacious and had a dining table, kitchenette, and small balcony with a nice view. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a more residential neighbourhood but there is a deli / convenience store right next door and the subway stops are 5-10 minute walks away.
The bedding was very comfortable, the room size is comfortable for two people.

Loved, loved the desk gals and housekeeper! Always helpful and friendly! A gem of a hotel with a lovely suite! Everything you need without a crowd. Will return!
Area is not bad, just not as nice as downtown. Room is much larger than others I have stayed in the area (Manhattan & Queens). Hotel is 2 blocks from N, W subway line or 5 blocks from 7 line (15 min from Midtown). All three lines stop at the Queensboro Plaza so you can change trains or walk. Cost/accessibility to downtown is very reasonable.
