A quick and convenient stop over.
Pros:

Convenient location for us on route to Glasgow. Food in bar was hearty and good value. Slept well, quiet location. Supermarket opposite was very convenient.

Cons:

Decor and environment a bit tired.

Suitable for overnight stays.
Pros:

The rooms whilst not overly large they had enough space for our needs. The hotel has a restaurant which was convenient and it offered reasonable meals. We were told that some items were fresh but it was apparent that they were frozen items.

Cons:

The hotel seemed to operate on a very limited staff who were multitasking.
There was no choice given as to cooked breakfast. It would have been nice to have more options. Generally the breakfast used poor quality products and some. Items such as the haggis was overcooked. This resulted in wasting food.

Pros:

Great property for a wee stop over close to the border. Staff were lovely, room was comfortable and the bathroom was newly renovated. Free parking and on site pub was nice.

Cons:

Room was slightly outdated and the walls were a little thin but nothing that affected my stay

Excellent stopover
Pros:

We booked the Honeymoon Suite because it was the last room available, but dude, am I happy that we stayed in it! An amazing room, with a superb bathroom too. If you're ever driving around the Scottish Borders, make sure to have a stopover here.

Pros:

The room was okay for one night. The breakfast was okay, plenty of cooked breakfast but poor quality.

Cons:

It was like going back to the 80s or maybe the 70s judging by the bathroom. The water barely came out of the shower over the old plastic bath.
