An excellent stay, excellent location, very good value for money, would recommend wholeheartedly.
Pros:

The attention to detail of the staff members especially Asha, was superb. I was very pleased with my stay, and the bed was especially comfortable. I have already re-booked for another stay.

Staying here is just the best
Pros:

Comfortable the assistance from the hotel proprietor,, was outstanding above and beyond to help and respect customer..

Cons:

Unfortunately people talking till late hour in reception and no regards for clientele.. Playing movies on there mobile phones loud.. Laughing till past 12am..also some weird super loud drilling noise buzzing noise coming from someone..

Bad reviews came true, but we didn't really mind
Pros:

Friendly staff, but it seemed like they knew the problems and the impossibility of improvements without serious investment to upgrade everything from the plumbing to the TVs. Good location in Hove. I had read the reviews and most things came true, but it was a last-minute trip and we have low standards so we just laughed 😁

Cons:

Shower didn't work in the first room, so in the morning we had to shower downstairs in another room, then we were moved to that room in the evening. Hot water but not great water pressure, toilet needed five flushes, only one sink worked and drained very slowly. Original beds were fine, but one of the downstairs beds had a valley in the middle of it (luckily there was an extra bed). TVs were small and old.

No cold water, one coat hanger, poor tea and coffee facilities which were not replenished after day one, no housekeeping, noise level of staff on mobile phones in early hours and then after having to get dressed to go out to complain the same staff member proceeded to go outside our window and argue with his girlfriend at 3.30am - no apologies, no hand towels, old rickety furniture, neither bathroom fan or mirror light working - even at a low cost was not worth the money - upon checking out zero acknowledgement from the reception guy

Fine accommodation although lack of shower was disappointing.

First room they gave me hag the heating set at 27dec C in a heatwave. They couldn’t turn it off so gave another room which turned to have been used by someone else before I got there.

Pros:

The staff were expecianally attentive , did their best to make my stay as comfortable as possible. When i arrived at the hotel and was shown a room that didn't fit my requests so I was very disappointed and upset . But the staff immediately organised another room for me also a better room for the following day .

Thanks so much .All the time made sure i was comfortable . I am grateful to the staff at the Albany Hove for their support & care .

The location is excellent with a short walk from shops ,bars , restaurants ,the beach, hove railway station & other public transports.

Cons:

The hotel & the rooms are very clean . But it's fairly dated building and in need of updating . The TV & kettle didn't work . The plumbing needs to be updated too.

Pros:

The staff were very nice,because I checked in,I got one bedroom,it didn't have tap in the bathroom,so I couldn't take a shower,I went straight to reception,and the staff helped me to change bedroom immediately. Because it was very warm ,i infromed,i didn't get a fan in my bedroom, they brought one fan to my bedroom immediately as well.Supposed check out time was 10am,they let me checked out at 12pm.they got it how to sort me.
