Ok for crashing after a night out!
Pros:

Bed linen, room etc very clean. Windows opened which was nice at night. Staff very friendly.

Cons:

Very overpriced for what was on offer, the place is very basic and needs some serious upgrades. Felt it was unclear that Parking was not free but £15 extra.

A very pleasant value-for-money stay
Pros:

Old-fashioned small hotel in great location situated within 5 minutes walk of many local shops, restaurants, frequent buses & the sea. Room was large with a very comfortable double bed, armchairs, wardrobe & a desk. No fridge, but free tea & coffee supplied. Bathroom had a bath & good overhead shower, plus WC & bidet. Wi-fi reception was fine. The Front desk staff were friendly.

Cozy Albany hotel
Pros:

My room was big and spacious and cozy. The bathroom was huge with a heated towel rail.The staff were very nice and helpful

Pros:

La habitacion era enorme, un poco vieva y bastante dejada.

Cons:

El parking está detras del edificio, pero no es cerrado, no hay ni una simple barrera, y dejar la moto alli me dio un poco de preocupación. No hay ascensor, asi que para un viaje en moto que debes descargar maletas etc ha sido bastante incomodo.

Accomodation was poor and not what we expected for the amount we had paid.

Cons:

When we arrived the property was not clean. The carpet was dirty, with a stone and other bits visible. The bathroom sink etc had paint flecks all over after a recent paint the shower was not clean. The entrance to the accomodation was also not clean, it needed to be swept and the carpets hoovered. We asked the receptionist if there were alternative rooms available and they showed us one other. This room had stains in the the headrest of the bed, the pull out sofa bed was stained and faded and on the floor we saw evidence of moths having eaten the carpet. There was also a carpet moth and other insects seen crawling on the wall, we declined this room. We all agreed that we were not at all happy and would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone else.

Pros:

Large family room, pretty quiet for the centre of a city, comfortable beds, good staff and great value for money

Great room, everything one would expect.

Cons:

The car park is not exclusive or included, so further cost. Also it's tight and on a first come basis, so if you use this hotel because it has a car park, as I did, you are not guaranteed a space. I was lucky. 'Just!

Shabby but not chic
Pros:

Great location in Hove, easy to get to cafes and restaurants. Was fairly close to Hove Park which was where we were going. Rooms were large and beds were comfortable

Cons:

There was no breakfast which for the price was disappointing. No bar either. The rooms were dated, pillows flat, curtains from a few decades ago, bathroom tatty around the edges and mine had a hole in the floor which I had to keep avoiding. It’s a lovely old building but it needs some serious renovations doing to make it worth the money.
