Our room was on the beach. Staff was friendly and our room was easy access.
Our room was a side view which was ok, but didn't tell us what floor until we checked in, would've picked a higher one as being on 2nd had many things in our view from balcony. The parking was hard for a truck, they wanted you to park at the top, which was great, but too many smaller cars took up the spots and they didn't enforce them to go to bottom so bigger ones could park, at they couldn't get into garage.
Our balcony door was jammed, had to have husband get it open each time by jerking it for it to open, it had weather damage and was hard to open and close. We stayed 4 nights and the last night saw cock roaches crawling on the wall, killed it, and another fell on me, I shook it off, chased it to kill but it ran inside water tank under the sink. Husband killed a small one in bathroom.
It had small stove (we didn't use) refrigerator, and microwave which was handy and small coffee pot. It was decent for the price, but not the expectations I had for the place.
Location!
The room was awful, doors would not shut with out putting your shoulder into them. The gasps under the doors was horrendous. The floors were filthy. No microwave. Mold behind the toilet. Bathroom floor trim coming up. Toilet was flip flopping with a spacer under it for leveling. Walls scratched up. Ac unit coming apart. Pool was cloudy. Smell of Marijuana was through out the hall and room. Noisy hall with people talking. Woke up at 2 am with noises upstairs. Bathroom door wouldn't shut.

Beds weren't that comfortable
the continence of being able to walk to the beach
asked for a broom a few times, never received one.
Closeness to the beach and non-corporation, was why l booked this hotel. And liked the easy parking which was my goal.
Lumpy beds and they didn't clean my room for my 2nd day. They charged me 166 twice, for my 1st day, first from my debit & 2nd my charge card. Then 76 on my arrival. I didn't see the charges till after I left. I called and left a voice mail but no response.
I want the addl charge of 166 & the 100 deposit refunded asap.
Direct access to the pool from the room
Check-in took 50 minutes due to only one staff member on duty, wasting our paid stay time. The room was not clean (hair left in it), the renovation was outdated with damaged walls, only 1 of 4 stove burners worked, there were dead cockroaches, the oven didn’t work, and no dishes/kitchen utensils were provided. Starting from 8 AM, hotel staff were extremely loud in the hallway, waking our entire family every morning. We were also charged an extra unexplained fee of over $24 that was not disclosed during booking on Booking.com.
Didn’t even stay. Room was flooded from the air conditioner and it was infested with roaches. Numerous people were in line to cancel their bookings and get refunds. Still haven’t heard back from the hotel regarding our cancellation.
Oceanfront
Definitely need some maintenance. Very low water pressure for shower. Light fixtures needed new bulbs, so room was dark. Housekeeping did not come to clean room to take out trash or give clean towels. Husband went to the front desk to ask for towels and was told “all the towels were in the washer and dryer and would have to wait”. The “extra” roll of toilet paper that was still in the paper hanging on the roll was soaking wet on arrival.
The room was super cheap and we booked last minute. We liked the late check in.
It was in a sketchy area. The pool was disgusting but we weren't there for the pool. The keys didnt work initially either which made checking in less smooth.
