Overall great experience — location, cleanliness, amenities, staff
Pros:

Made this our base for three nights in Galway while driving out during the days to tour the Burren and Connemara. Absolutely no complaints. It’s conveniently located to walk to Galway’s sights without being in the middle of the crowded center of town, the hotel itself is hip, modern, and clean. Fast Wifi and plenty of outlets for charging devices, plugging in phones, etc. Central A/C works well. Staff are friendly and helpful. The in-house restaurant is tasty and (for a hotel restaurant) fairly reasonably priced. We were on the 1st floor (above the lobby) and the only noise we heard was Galway’s numerous seagulls. The only (small) downside is that the hotel has no parking garage — the nearest parking is at a multi-story parking structure about a 5-7 minute walk away. However, if you have mobility issues, or are a large group lugging multiple big suitcases, that might be a slight issue. My spouse and I are light travelers, so no problem for us. We’ll definitely stay here again if we return to Galway.

It was fine, But, I would book somewhere else for luxury
Pros:

The location is fantastic with it's proximity to Eyre square.
The shower however, is the nicest shower I've experienced. And my partner said the same. Also very clean

Cons:

We stayed for two nights and, unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to the price. Towels were scarce, and we had to request fresh ones despite only staying for two nights. The dressing gowns were standard fabric rather than towelling robes and looked a little worn.

The room itself was quite small, with very limited storage, meaning we had to live out of our suitcases for the duration of our stay. There wasn't even an iron in the room, which was surprising at this price point.

For me, luxury is in the attention to detail, and this is where the hotel fell short. The minibar included a miniature bottle of champagne, yet there wasn't a champagne glass in the room. We had to wait quite a while for one to be delivered, which took away from the experience.

The hotel is undoubtedly stylish and trendy, but I wouldn't describe it as luxurious. We booked the night before, so the high price reflected convenience rather than value. At nearly €1,000 for two nights, I expected a much higher standard of comfort and service.

In my opinion, there are several hotels in Galway that offer a more comfortable stay at a much more reasonable price. While it's located a little further from the city centre, I found the Connacht Hotel to provide better comfort and value, while still offering easy access to Galway and the races.

Nice gym and nice upgrade.
Pros:

Nice gym! We had a room upgrade which tells me we paid too much or it was cause the room they gave us was on the main floor but toward the back which was fine. We were happy to get a bigger room.

Cons:

Upon arriving checked it took the bags in but we were never explained the where the gym/pool was and how to get to there. They were happy to sell us on the restaurant and mini bar but not tell us about the included amenities. Also the hot tub could have been a little warmer. Parking garage was a bit too far and when we left are parking was not valid properly.
