Best hotel we stayed in on our trip.
Cons:

There was no hair dryer, however strangely there was a hair straightener. It worked ok, but might not work for all people and hair types. Dryers are usually a standard.

Quirky and cute but could they a little fine-tuning to reach its full potential
Pros:

The shower was gorgeous!
The front desk receptionists were amazing! They were super friendly with lots of information. Very helpful!
The hallway was pretty and the big window looking down to the pool was nice.

Cons:

Bartenders - the first night we asked if the kitchen was still open, it was about 21:00 and the bartender looked over at it and said no. We continued to see several items go out the window to tables. Maybe they were catching up from a rush and didn’t want more orders as it was close to kitchen close, but he was pretty rude about it. The second time we went the bartender was gruff and didn’t seem to know the menu. I decided it would be a good time to ask him how he was doing and started a chat. He loosened up a little but was still pretty negative.

There were a couple of things that were broken in the bath area. Things just seemed to be falling apart.

The recycling center below our window was LOUD and annoying at times. Our window latch and seal was broken so it couldn’t be closed very tight.

I'll not be back wver.
Pros:

Front of house staff good. Check in people helpful

Cons:

False advertising. There is nothing cosy about the Cosy room, unless cosy means too small. One aide of tiny supposedly double bed against the wall is impractical. Blind did not close out the daylight in the morning. The mattress was smaller than the bed frame, banged my leg a number of times on the wooden frame. The bedside table was a tiny stool with a soft vinyl top. Coffee machine worked for one morning only. Hot water tap in basin stopped, then after a period of time worked. Lights were too dim, hard to iron a shirt for next morning in the gloomy room, 3 clothes hangers and couple of wall rails is inadequate for anyone staying more than one night or maybe an hour or two. Breakfast was average. Hard potatoes, tough chewy muffins in Eggs Benedict, bargain basement orange juice with ice in a small glass so tiny amount of juice, daft salt sellars... generally a very poor hotel.

Disappointed in the Dean !
Pros:

Loved the pool and steam room. Bedroom decor was nice though not a patch on the Harcourt Street one in Dublin.

Cons:

The staff (except the cleaning staff)weren’t very welcoming. Umbrellas could be RENTED. Ridiculous in Galway. Everything was ‘extra’ - juice with breakfast, toast, more coffee etc.
No ‘cead míle fáilte’ at all. Disappointing experience especially as we brought 2 French couples with us and hoped they’d enjoy the place. Won’t be back.
