Adored this hotel, such a special place to stay!
Pros:

The whole hotel is really stunning, and the room was beautifully set out. We had everything we needed in the room and really loved our stay. The bed was comfy, and it wasn’t super noisy/we didn’t hear guests out in the hallway. The breakfast was also fantastic, the lady who works there most mornings is so attentive and welcoming, she gave us great tips on beaches to visit in the area. It was such a lovely place to stay!

Outstanding hotel

We’ve just returned from our second stay at the Casa Porto Boutique Hotel in Agios Nikolaos, Crete. We stayed there in September 2025 and in the same period this year (2026).
What a fantastic hotel. Lovely room with a view directly out over the harbour and bay. Staff are outstanding - Dimitris on Reception, Julie in the morning and Maria in the afternoon and evening. The hotel does food in the bar and outside seating area up until 3pm. We didn’t eat during the day but the food looked lovely. Breakfast everyday was outstanding. Fantastic presentation and great choices. The hot food options change everyday. The chef (Sonia) does an outstanding job. This was our second stay at the hotel, we arrived home yesterday and are already planning our next visit. A real gem if you plan on visiting Agios Nikolaos

Cons:

The only negative (and it’s a very minor one). The room could do with a little more storage space for clothes etc

Agréable petit hôtel sur le port
Pros:

Petit hôtel très sympatique, très accueillant. Merci pour la petite citronnade à la menthe servie lors de notre arrivée.
Bon buffet de petit déjeuner, pris dehors, au bord du port.
Les cocktails du bar sont parfaits.
Bien situé, près du port et du centre ville.

Cons:

N'essayez surtout pas d'accéder à l'hôtel en voiture ! Le GPS vous guide dans des rues très étroites dans lesquelles on passe à peine, vu les voitures qui y sont garées malgré tout! Et la rue de l'hôtel se termine en cul-de-sac par un escalier.
Allez vous garer au parking du port (gratuit), et allez à pied jusqu'à l'hôtel (300m)

Amazing location and great value for the basic room. Friendly staff.
Pros:

Amazing value and great central location. Free parking at the port less than 5 minutes from the property. There were some complaints about parking lot being closed when cruise ships are in during the day, but luckily we didn't have any issue with that (arrived Sat Sep 5 around 1700 and departed Mon Sep 7 around 1130). Friendly staff. We took a Nostos cruise to Spinalonga, and it was only a 2 minute walk to and from the property. The lake is less than 5 minutes walking. Two other locations with small beaches/harbors with great restaurants are maybe 10 minutes walking.

Nice view from the veranda/balcony on the 3rd floor.

Cons:

No complaints at all.
