Fabulous property
Pros:

Loved the decore, facilities, location, space, layout and cleanliness.

Cons:

Sound proofing is not present so if you stay, bring ear plugs.

Pros:

The location is close to everything, beach and eateries. The character of the building is charming and the decor delightful :)
Great sound proofing, immaculately clean.

Cons:

Booking description was not clear. it seems both Studio and One Bedroom apartment use the same description in the details ie;
Bedroom: Large King Bed
Lounge: Sofa bed
However a Studio of course is only one room! Better clarification will help us avoid a mistake next booking.

Incredible! Highly recommend!!
Pros:

This is the cleanest property I have ever stayed at. We all felt like we were at home. The attention to detail was like no where we have ever stayed. Down to the laundry baskets, ice maker.. honestly the best accommodation hands down in our travels.

Hokitika Fire Station Boutique Accommodation had the most comfortable mattress and bedding we experienced during our two-week South Island road trip! We slept incredibly well and felt completely refreshed. The room was beautifully designed, with plenty of fascinating historic fire station memorabilia that gave it a unique character and charm. The location is excellent, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Everything about our stay was perfect and far exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hokitika!

A wonderful experience and wish I could have stayed longer!
Pros:

This place is INCREDIBLE!!!! An old Fire station which has been converted into boutique accommodation. Clean, comfortable, modern and historical. The small touches were genius! So many fabulous things to say about this place - I have raved about it to all my friends and would stay again in a heartbeat!

Cons:

Absolutely nothing! It was perfection.

Exceeded expectations
Pros:

I loved everything about this place. The attention to detail that has gone into the entire building is amazing. There are little treasures to find throughout the property. The rooms were immaculate and even as we were leaving they were repainting the deck. Spoke with one of the owners as we were leaving and you could see how passionate he was about the restoration and keeping the history of the building. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. So much space and walking distance to everything.

A delightful property
Pros:

Lovely, comfortable property. Excellent location with easy walking distance of all services.

Cons:

Being an old building the sound proofing between levels is average meaning you hear footsteps of guests on the level above. If you're light sleeper book a first floor apartment.
