Excellent location, facilities and staff
Pros:

The location was superb, right on the waterfront. Rooms were large with excellent beds/bathroom facilities. Easy car parking and very friendly staff.

Pros:

Pillow menu was a great option. Bed very comfortable. Lovely views. Staff pleasant when approached.

Cons:

Missed some of the small extras typically found such as a pen and paper, information about hotel and services in some written form eg. menu. The total absence of these and requirement to be tech savvy and able/happy to rely on scanning and following QR codes, communicate with Alexi etc. felt too remote and impersonal for us.. Limited tv without the ability to cast. No comforting touches. They had done away with hand towels so only two face flannels and two minimal towels for showering was inadequate. When requested, hand towels were provided but having to ask for a basic need was uncomfortable. Nothing to wipe spills around tea and coffee and a poorly pouring jug meant we used one of the two precious face flannels on this almost imnediately. Basic, very impersonal and a bit spartan, would not see us return unfortunately.

Pros:

Our room was positioned at the front of the property overlooking the beach and ocean. Happy hour between 4 & 6pm flowed nicely into our evening meal in the restaurant. Big shout out to Kev for his outstanding service and recommendations.

Pros:

When we arrived they upgraded us to a suite, which was amazing.
Was towing a 7.5m trailer and had great parking for this.
We arrived in the dark and left in the dark so couldn't appreciate our view from our room but would definitely stay there again. Our dinner was delicious
