just Four season is one of the best hotels ! so to me was everything is excellent there. pool inside and out side. cozy restaurant for dinner.
In our experience, returning to a hotel that we’ve stayed at before is significant. Four Seasons MSP is exceptional… at every level. From the moment valet opened our door to the moment we left, we felt welcomed, warm, and with friends. We have NEVER encountered a staff member who was not exceptional in every way: kind, friendly, accommodating, happy. Tyrees (?), a young man who valeted for us numerous times, greeted us by name as if we were old friends. His smile and kindness exemplified Four Seasons. The environment is elegant and inviting, creating nooks to engage. The rooms are roomy, relaxing, quiet, and fantastic… the view is incredible! The staff, to a person, is outstanding… there’s no other word. The food is perfect, the atmosphere is comfortable, the location is convenient. You cannot go wrong staying here. For a perfect night, weekend, or extended stay, one cannot go wrong here. I can’t wait to go back.
What is the level above boujee? That is the level of this hotel. We are seasoned travelers and were in town to catch a few baseball games. The service is top notch, room spacious with a great view, and the staff stands ready and willing to accommodate any request. We took our car out one day and the valets offered us waters for the road! There was a snack cart in the afternoon and gelato cart near the pool.
The room was high tech with wall plates that controlled the lights at various levels, high to night light, and the drapes. Robes and slippers provided. The bathroom was spacious, with separate area for the toilet. Water and ice provided daily and at the evening turn down.
The roof top pool area was beautiful and the service was fast and friendly. The Riva rooftop bar was a great place to relax in the evening.
Breakfast at Mara was perfect. Nathan welcomed us each morning and Anh provided us additional tasty treats to try each morning. We enjoyed the yogurt parfait, croissant, pain au chocolat, cinnamon roll, eggs Benedict, avocado toast and breakfast sandwich (over three days).
Grab a post card from your room or the lobby to send to friends and family, through their provided desktop mailbox.
They even pick up the postage.
We cannot wait to be back to take in a Vikings game, via the Skyway which is attached to the hotel!

The price
We stayed here for the Bruno Mars concert. The reception staff was friendly, and our room was comfortable. We booked through Amex FHR, and honestly, if we didn’t have the credit, we probably wouldn’t have stayed here. While we had a good experience overall, I don’t think the hotel delivers enough value for the price.
The hotel offers a house car, but we weren’t able to use it to go the one mile to the stadium because it doesn’t operate during concerts. The location was convenient, though, and there’s a Whole Foods right across the street if you need anything.
Breakfast and the bar were both good, and room service was solid too, the pizza was surprisingly good. However, skip the cookie; it was rock hard, so we didn’t eat it.
The pool and hot tub were great, and overall we enjoyed our stay. That said, I probably wouldn’t stay here again when visiting Minneapolis. I’d rather try one of the other FHR hotels in the area before returning.
My wife and I recently spent four nights at the Four Seasons Minneapolis and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. While no hotel is perfect, this property delivers the level of service and quality you would expect from the Four Seasons brand.
PROS
Location
The location is outstanding and one of the hotel’s biggest strengths. We walked to Target Field for a Twins game, the Guthrie Theater, and U.S. Bank Stadium. There are plenty of restaurants, attractions, and downtown destinations within easy walking distance.
Hotel Staff
The staff was exceptional throughout our stay. Friendly, helpful, professional, and consistently engaged. I honestly don’t remember coming or going a single time without being greeted by someone. The service culture here is impressive.
The Rooms
We stayed in a standard king room and it was wonderful. Spacious, clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The Nespresso machine, complimentary bottled water, minibar, plush bathrobes, and clothing steamer were all appreciated touches that elevated the experience.
In-Room Requests
One of my favorite features was the iPad Mini provided in the room. It allows you to communicate directly with hotel staff and request everything from room service to turndown service or even a different pillow. It’s convenient, intuitive, and something I wish more luxury hotels would adopt.
On-Site Dining
Yes, the restaurants are expensive, but everything we tried was excellent. We ate at both hotel restaurants and also visited the adjacent coffee shop operated by the hotel. The food, drinks, and service were consistently high quality, which is exactly what you hope for when staying at a luxury property.
CONS
Room Cleaning
My biggest complaint was that housekeeping had to be requested each day. While it wasn’t difficult to do, it feels like daily room cleaning should be the default expectation at a hotel in this price range.
TV Casting
The televisions offer phone casting, but don’t include built-in smart TV apps. Unfortunately, we found the casting feature to be somewhat glitchy and unreliable throughout our stay.
Rooftop Restaurant Availability
The rooftop restaurant was closed twice during our four-night stay due to private events. To the hotel’s credit, they communicate these closures well in advance so guests can plan accordingly, but it was still disappointing to lose access to one of the property’s signature amenities for half of our visit.
Final Thoughts
Overall, we had a great experience and would absolutely stay here again. The location, staff, accommodations, and dining options far outweighed the few frustrations we encountered. If you’re looking for a luxury hotel in downtown Minneapolis, the Four Seasons is an excellent choice.
The breakfast was great. The dinner was exceptional.
Nothing.
The best decision we made when visiting Minneapolis this weekend was to book a room at the Four Seasons. From the moment we entered the door until our departure, the staff at this hotel gave us great service. Our room on the 30th floor had a panoramic view of the city. Our hotel room was immaculate, well equipped and comfortable. One night we enjoyed a fireworks display after a baseball game from our window. We enjoyed a fabulous tasting menu at the hotel restaurant Mara and received great attention from our server Chadwick. The breakfasts were complimentary and delicious. When my husband came down with the flu, Security checked on him when he wasn't answering the phone. The concierge helped us to cancel our reservation for dinner that night, even getting us a refund on our deposit. Since they knew it was my birthday, we were sent a bottle of chilled champagne from the General Manager. The complimentary car service drove us to our skyway tour and trolly tours. Lastly, after our departure when I realized I had left behind my parking ticket at the airport, they tried to find it in the trash and recycle bin. I can never remember an experience so welcoming and attentive. If there were 6-star ratings for hotels, the Four Seasons in Minneapolis would surely earn it.
They have really upped their game here. Shout out to Raya at reception for being warm and welcoming. Rooms are well appointed, stay was very comfortable and convenient.
Beautiful
Nothing
We liked the friendly staff at door and front desk. Bar service was good on drinks slow on food. Room was clean comfortable but very small for the cost.
Chocolate on the pillows for turn down service.
Maybe put water bottle next to bed at turn down time.
The restaurant
Loved the staff and the spa. Views were exceptional
