Beautiful property, excellent host, superb service, food and hospitality.
Pros:

The property was beautifully decorated, and very quiet. The bed was very comfortable and room was perfect.

Cons:

There was nothing I didn’t like. My stay was too short!

Pros:

The room was exceptional and Monique was very accomodating.

Cons:

Nothing to do with the property, however Booking.com charged us twice and I haven’t been able to recoup the cost as I continually get an AI message which is very frustrating.

What an awesome place to stay in Port Fairy

Our stay at the Oak and Anchor in Port Fairy was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we naturally felt incredibly welcome.

The rooms are absolutely beautiful, designed with an incredible extra attention to detail that makes the space feel both luxurious and comfortable.

What truly sets this place apart, however, is the hospitality. The owner, Sally, is amazing. She genuinely went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for us during our stay. Her warmth and dedication to us made our stay unforgettable.
Breakfast was also spectacular with Monique taking all requests in her stride and with a smile.
We cannot recommend the Oak and Anchor highly enough and will recommend it to anyone visiting this charming town.

Pros:

Everything- lovely welcome on arrival, great information and flexibility in room offerings, beautiful warm rooms, comfortable beds, clean and modern bathroom, delicious breakfast, great location, quiet sleeps and very homely feel. Felt so welcome and happy. We loved it.

Luxurious boutique style stay
Pros:

This boutique style accommodation is very luxurious and provides a lovely welcoming atmosphere for a couple.

The host Sally is excellent and provided all the comforts and a great deal of information for dining etc.

Sally and Dusty were fabulous at cooking and serving a scrumptious breakfast. We really appreciated the friendliness and attention to detail.

This place is awesome! From the location to the room to the wonderful staff, everything was amazing. Our room (Beau) was simply stunning. The bed - so comfortable. The room amenities including bath were beautifully appointed.
I'm so sorry to have forgotten name of our gorgeous hostess (owners sister) but she went above and beyond to ensure our stay was the best it could be.
Tips for local places, breakfast including fresh baked goodies just made our trip. Such a gorgeous building and owners added that special touch!

Cons:

The AC going in and out did give us a night of kicking bedding on and off, also noise as kicking in stirred you awake.

We had an absolutely lovely 1 night stay and would highly recommend this place.
Pros:

The property has been finished to a very high standard, is like a home away from home, very spacious and clean and the most comfiest of beds! We were met by the owner Sally who was very friendly and we were offered a free upgrade from the Courtyard Suite to the Beau Suite which was a lovely gesture.

A charming hotel in picturesque Port Fairy
Pros:

Everything was 20/10. We didn't want to leave the hotel sadly. We love our little suite, so much space and the decor is beautifully curated. We love the little touches - snacks, the choices of amenities, the lights. The bed was wonderfully comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and so filling - continental selection with your choice of eggs.

The location of the hotel was a perfect short walk to the town centre, plenty of shops and restaurants.

The standout was the staff especially Sally. She greeted us like old friends, showing us the room and the bathroom. She checked us about dinner plans and what we want for breakfast. She was so warm and kind. In the morning when checking out but after our breakfast, she packed us some freshly baked muffins that we missed. It was so delicious! She truly was the most wonderful host! We also briefly met Amanda during breakfast who was also super friendly.

Even coming during winter, Port Fairy is just stunning and we will be back soon to experience Oak and Anchor Hotel again.

Cons:

The open concept bathroom might be an issue to some people. I think it's considerate that there is an extra shared toilet downstairs for guests should they need the extra toilet. Generally we were OK with it as we saw it in the photos, the style was too beautiful not to appreciate.
