Not our style but a solid unit.
Pros:

The property is well equipped and would be perfect for someone young or accustomed to student housing. Had a comfy sofas, a good TV and fans!

Cons:

We are too old for a loft bed with no headroom and a scary staircase between us and the bathroom. Really hot with no windows other than the skylights. Lot of noise from the gulls.

Absolutely not a luxury apartment.
Pros:

The location suited us for the central station.

Cons:

These apartments could not be classified as luxury. We paid an extortionate premium because of Open week but would not pay rack rate to stay here. Under no circumstances could this be called luxury and especially as we were in basement! Poor shower, pokey bed area, noisy from the room above us and we even paid extra for car parking in a regeneration area of Liverpool. Sorry but would not stay again.

If location is your preference then it’s worth every penny.
Pros:

Location was perfect, apartment was good in general, the FLEXIPASS lock is simple and easy and the ice machine at the top was a nice addition.

Cons:

Way too warm, the entrance gate being locked, parking is poor considering there is a massive car park there and some of the fixtures and fittings were loose such as kitchen tap and window latches.

Spacious, comfortable, well appointed clean apartment, v close to the train and city centre yet quiet and tucked away, a
Pros:

Spacious, comfortable, v clean and quiet.

Cons:

I would have loved better light blocking curtains/blinds for the big windows. I’m used to sleeping w blackouts, so having street lights glowing orange through the big gaps in the curtains kept waking me up. It didn’t seem to bother anyone else though so maybe just a me thing!

Luxury price, budget experience
Pros:

The location was great.

Cons:

Unfortunately, we did not enjoy our stay at Trueman court. As soon as we walked in we felt underwhelmed and that the pictures on booking.com did not accurately represent the current state of the apartment.

There were many stains and marks on the walls, the curtains were fraying at the ends it felt shabby overall. The kitchen area was the same with burnt food / marks on the glass hob and a dirty / old set of oven gloves and tea towel hung over the over door handle. There was a cheap plug in air freshener which had an overpoweringly sweet smell.

In terms of amenities, we at least expected some water in the fridge as you'd get if you were staying anywhere else priced at £265 a night. There was none, however.

The bed was not comfortable - you could feel the springs in your back all night. It was high up on an upper floor with a very low ceiling meaning you couldn't stand straight. The mattress cover also had some yellow stains.

We actually stayed out longer in the evening as we did not wish to return to the apartment due to it being/ feeling such poor quality and not as advertised. It certainly wasn't 'luxury' in any way; it felt more like a student flat. We were also next to the front door and could hear people enter/ exit throughout the night / early morning.

We wouldn't have been so dissatisfied if it wasn't so expensive. £265 a night is obscene for the quality of the apartment and we would certainly stay somewhere else the next time we were in Liverpool.

Trueman Court have also stated that they usually charge around £100 per stay, which seems far more reasonable. It appears they increased the price by nearly £200 during periods of high demand without improving the quality of the apartment or the overall experience. I would avoid booking this place if it costs more than £100, as it simply isn’t worth the price and there are far nicer alternatives available.

Comfortable, well maintained, cheap nearby parking.
Pros:

The location was very convenient for the city centre. They offer parking for only £5.00 which was a huge bonus. The apartment was well equipped and well maintained. The staff were helpful.

Cons:

My only thought was that I picked a room which turned out to be in the basement and didn't have much natural light. it was 3 the old red, so if you prefer more natural light pick one of the other ones.
