Eine Nacht in Catania
Pros:

Das ganze Hotel ist von innen neu ausgestattet sehr sauber die Einrichtung macht einen guten Eindruck Personal ist sehr freundlich und kulant sie haben mich im Zimmer gelassen obwohl ich eine Stunde zu früh kam besitzt einen eigenen abgeschlossenen Parkplatz

Von außen sieht es ein bisschen vernachlässigt aus aber von innen ist alles sehr gut

Catania Sea Palace should not be a 4 star hotel - no facilities and at the back of other hotels.
Pros:

Room good size; bed comfortable

Cons:

Room had no window - I mean there was there was an MDF panel to shoulder height where there should have been a window and the only window was above that to let in a bit of light. Admittedly it would have only looked onto an outside corridor but it made the room dark and enclosed.
There was nowhere to sit and relax either inside or outside. The 'bar' was literally just that - a bar with no room to sit near.
The hotel is unattractive and unwelcoming. The only entrance is from the car park - at least it had a car park. It is designed for tour groups who only stay one night. The area is like Butlins which we got used to but the beach is cordoned off and you can't even see the sea.

Cons:

- Emplacement catastrophique : pas de sortie piéton, obligé de passer le long de la route sans trottoir, accès par parking uniquement
- Insonorisation entre les chambres inexistante
- Des travaux de rénovation de la chambre en face de la notre. 1) on ne nous a pas prévenu. 2) Les employés en charge des travaux discutaient en hurlant devant notre chambre à partir de 8h, puis au bout d'une demi-heure, ils ont commencé les travaux avec la perceuse et la disqueuse. Si vous voulez dormir un peu le matin oubliez.
- 2 pauvres bouteilles d'eau de 30 cl dans le mini frigo à 2 euros
- Accès voiture mal signalé : panneau vu au dernier moment.
- Accès en centre ville par bus pas fiable (difficile de trouver les arrêts, horaires Google erronés,) et 30 minutes minimum de trajet
- Petit dej varié mais pas bon : oeuf brouillé froid , caoutchouteux, viennoiseries sèches, café de mauvaise qualité
- 1er mot sur le panneau de l'hôtel : Ristorante : il n'y en a pas, juste un bar
- Cabine de douche pour petit gabarit ( par rapport à la taille de la salle de bains c'est encore plus contrastant)
- même pas une bouilloire dans la chambre (thés et infusions facturés 3eu au bar )

Location was awful, very from everything and no buses were running regularly. We had to walk everywhere, very hot and long walks
