The location was perfect, right in the center of town and walking distance to everything in San Pancho from the beaches, bars, restaurants, shops etc. They also had guest parking which was amazing if you have a rental car as parking can be difficult in this small town. The hotel has beautiful architecture and an amazing tropical jungle feeling atmosphere (reminded me of being in Bali!), nice grounds and rooms that are definitely picturesque and instagrammable for sure!
The main ground level pool was very pretty and relaxing and surrounded by gorgeous plants and cute wild iguanas walking about but enclosed within building and walls and got barely any sun. The two smaller roof top pools/jacuzzies were not very well kept and felt kinda dirty - I felt the rooftop was cute and has a lot of potential to be better overall - just feels like it's bit forgotten about up there. Amenities could be better - There is also no bar or restaurant at this hotel, or option for free breakfast. There is a cute cafe that is attached where you can get coffee, pastries and breakfast items for purchase, which was a bit expensive I wasn't impressed with the coffee or food. It would also be nice if the rooms included pool towels and cups. Overall the place didn't feel amazing for what we were paying but by no means a terrible spot!
I like the relative solitude yet you remain within everything. The top floor with its view of the jungle and to the west a perfect viewing of the sunset.
I cannot think of anything.
Habitacion chulisima!!
Que los alrededores del hotel no tengan buena iluminación y falta un poco de limpieza en sus banquetas...
The property is absolutely beautiful and serene. It is spacious and contemporary with a Frank Lloyd Wright aesthetic in the common space around the rooms are situated. On the rooftop a view overlooking a small surf town of the ocean is an enjoyable way to spend a morning. The service is include pool holes, lounge, chairs, and couples massage.
I cannot think of anything that I did not like about the property. It was one of the more superior locations I’ve stayed in the region. The staff was friendly, the café is buzzing with an array of beverages and pastries.
The hotel is very pretty, the building is well designed, the rooms are very clean and spacious, the have few drinks in the mini fridge as a cortesía.
The restaurant by the hotel is ok, but the payment is cash only (like most places in San pancho)
The hotel has good potential, but....
While the inside is clean, the outside is no so much...
The pool area is lonely and not inviting. Lots of debris from the trees and the iguanas feces all over.
As well on the roof, is quite dirty and unwelcoming. No towel area, no bar, no service.
If you like to sleep in a blackout, this hotel doesn't have full blackout coverage, at least not in the room we had.
On the room.the fan remote control misses the battery, the a/c remote was turning on the TV, imagine that happened to you in the middle of the night while you adjusting the a/c temperature. That was scary.
The room doesn't really have a closet, they have a rack with hangers.
No iron, no vanity kit, no close up mirror.
Noisy from constant constructions work and crazy roosters.
Price is very expensive for the situation and service that the hotels offers. But the potential is there.
The roosters
La habitación.
Todo me gusta de este hotel.
Room was very nice, large shower room. Jacuzzi on the roof was nice. Loved the café next to the hotel.
We didn't feel this hotel deserved a 5 star rating. Some things were a little shabby, rusty, looking old. No-one helped us with our suitcases. The pool is enclosed in a concrete courtyard, so didn't get much sun. Water feature by the hotel entrance seemed unnecessary and dangerous for older people. We paid a lot of money for this hotel and didn't feel it was worth it
Todo! El hotel es muy bonito. Las habitaciones muy cómodas. La atención muy buena y la ubicación excelente! El café increíble y el personal que lo atiende el mejor!
Staff were lovely and polite and the hotel looked like the photos and had a nice cafe next to it
There was something really spooky about the atmosphere. I slept really badly in the room with lots of noises throughout the night. There was no atmosphere in the hotel, it was very dead. I booked this as a solo female traveller and would not advise staying here unless you’re with a partner or family. Not good value for money at all sadly.
